The mobile wallets are coming along nicely.  Cool
....
GitHub Download:  https://github.com/HashEngineering/darkcoin-wallet/releases/tag/v4.18r3

having some glitchy problems with v4.18r3 on my android with received transactions not showing for over 1 hour, thinking to roll back to v4.18r2 to see if its as reliable as last time.
Hash engineering says the code has hardly been changed, I could do with someone else to test it to see if its just me or not.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Sideshow clowns, this is the real world where real investors pay attention, not this little walled forum filled with people that have delusions of grandeur.

There is a real world out there, and you don't make one iota of difference to the people I talk with on a daily basis. Unless you do this for some perverted pleasure, you're wasting your time.

Except, Tao, that I don't know anything about coding, and although I could basically see what's happening in the code....sometimes.... I'm glad there are people out there reviewing it and asking questions.  Without such people, there is no point to being open sourced.  Though I'm always amazed when Evan drops in to answer a question!  He must have little mice here to alert him or something, LOL.  I'm not one of 'em at the moment, LOL.

So anyway, honestly, even if the reason they're combing through the code is to find fault and even if they were aggressive about it, I'm really glad they're there.  They may even find a problem, which I have no doubt Evan could fix quickly.  It's super great to have such people.  They help the coin!  Smiley

So thank you very much industrialcoinmagic!

Right you are! I'm all for real problems that are objectively brought up. Although the "problems" they find are usually blown out of proportion by our resident trolls, and those were the ones I was referring to in that post. I was pointing out that there is a big world out there totally beyond their sphere of influence, where most people make the important decisions.

A chameleon can change into anything and blends in everywhere, but starting off as a Dalmatian and then changing into a chameleon would not work and does not follow the laws of physics  Grin

Indeed it is healthy to embrace criticism, either we learn from it or it gives us the opportunity to test our beliefs. It is great to see Evan himself clarify some of these things for us as well. So when the trolls criticism does not hold water it inspires me with confidence. So I thank you for that trolls, you are helping me reaffirm my believe in Dash. Smiley

When/If crypto gets regulated currencies like Dash would obviously not suceed anywhere. Scams like what happened with Dash dont usually work well with the average person adoption.

Then to make things even worse, there's still an address with inputs connected to the original instamine, and that address currently owns 11% of all Dash in existence:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/wallet.dws?559582.htm.

So now we can undeniably say that Dash/Darkcoin's distribution after the instamine is horrible.

Dash is simply a scam, the evidence is absolutely overwhelming.

Holy shit, I checked the link and it's true!  When the ambush-miners are ready to leak/dump, you trashbag-holding guys better hope Otoh wants to buy (another) 11% of all the Dash in existence!

FUD FUD FUD - You really don't have a clue do you?

That address is mine, all my coins were bought long after any vote on instamine etc.

I've made it open and as obvious as possible, but I guess some of the dimmer pupils will always fail to see that.

Wow, I pity your life, such dedication to hate and just being a poisonous troll, I do hope that you realize you are making yourself probably quite sick in the long or even shorter term here, anyway GFY as always, Otoh Kiss

That's interesting, because I first found of that address here. If even Dash supporters don't know of someone owning 11% of the coin supply with inputs being linked back to the original instamine, then wow, you must be really transparent Otoh /s

I did a search with that address and found no links back to you Otoh, so it's either you're lying, trying to cover up who the real owner is, or...(?)because that address isn't linked to you at all, so you clearly have not made it as "obvious as possible".

I don't know, but there was an entity at least 9 months ago who was buying up coins, hitting numbers like pi 314159.... and I don't remember, the fibonacci sequence?  I can't recall.  But it's possible that this is the same account?  Anyone know?

Inputs go all the way back to one of the first miners it appears. Granted, I figured there were some large holders of around 3-4% but double digits and constantly rolling 1k vins forward into new masternodes doesn't strike me as incredibly healthy for a currency. I kinda figured Evan had around 200-300k coins presently (after clearing over a million in usd equivalent) with the chunks that went to the exchanges late april to early june but to still have a stockpile of coins this large is a bit shocking.

All my coins were bought way, way after the instamine, it's actually one of the reasons I liked and invested in this coin, the likelihood that the devs had a good stake in making it work long term, which is being born out in practice.

Your statements don't add up. That address isn't linked to you at all, has inputs from the original instamine, kind of sketchy if you ask me but I won't make any conclusions.

lol, for some people, obvious as possible needs to be kindergarten style, believe me those with the smarts to know what's going on in this space know very well that it's me and when I started to invest in a 10% + stake in DASH, which was way after the instamine phase and also partly due to how that was handled, I want my dev to have an ongoing big interest in making this coin a success.
