I don´t understand nothing of the last 20 or 30 posts but I´m very happy this thread is evolving in a real Tech conversation about DASH.  Grin

You need to spend some time here looking around: https://dashdot.io/alpha/ Have a poke through the FAQ and the Distributed Blockchain Governance section. Both are broken down for the layperson.

...Well I started almost a year ago, litecoin took me about a month or so....

What? You make it sound so easy.

In that case, why are there so many failed LTC ASIC projects?

I think he was talking about design and simulation only, not actually manufacturing. I am guessing the logistics and economics are way more complex and go beyond the design phase.

ohhhh man. Cant believe im going to own up to this but last night I had a dream that dash was going to see one last mega pump before it dies and this morning before work I bought 3 btc of dash to be ready for the pump.

Am I the only one here who's having dreams about a dash pump or are there others?

This is really funny, because I dream that the price increase to 0.2, I din't have the second part of your dream.
It was two days ago.
It was weird, It was in something like an airport hall, and in the panel where there are arrival/and depart plane they was the live price of DASH with grafics, and all people in the hall was looking at it, and in less than 2 hours go from actual price to 0.2...
When I woke up and directly check bitcoinwisdom..

Vertoe update:

After much fanfare creating a new announcement thread which disparages "Darkcoin", the Cachecoin network, led by Vertoe's updates, proceeds to fork multiple times. Vertoe then goes MIA and still has not been heard from.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1072284.msg11476586#msg11476586

Running your own coin is not as easy as its cracked up to be is it Vertoe? Have you become the centralized entity that you unceremoniously criticized Evan for being?

Now, with the DGBB, Dash has overcome these very issues that you were complaining about.

Peace, Vertoe, if only you would have stuck around a little longer...

Vertoe update:
....

Now, now. He put a lot of effort into Darkcoin (like a lot of people), no need for all that.

Darkcoin had some forks too. It's the price you pay for the active development; developers take risks. I hope it ends well.

We are putting a lot of effort into Dash. We don't just leave in a huff because something isn't going our way. And then proceed to become the very thing we were protesting against. I am not sorry to see this happen to him. Where is he when his coin needs him?

Forks are good for development. Not communicating with the community while it's happening is the height of irresponsibility.

The $42,000 of trade volume per day on Coinmarketcap must be all wrong, I will email the Admin and explain they are grossly misinformed.

You have to pay a 1 Dash bar fine into Sub-Ether's retirement fund because of that.

I came across this post in another thread. I'm not a coder and don't know anything about security, so don't shoot me for overreacting. But could someone please explain what it is he's talking about? And if it's dangerous for DASH?

Smiley

So that filcher thinks he is the smartest guy around...

So probably what you have to do now is to implement the second part of my suggestion - check if the address, which received 10 LIMX, is one of the masternodes (and make sure no address could be included in that list, if it is not a masternode).
...or whatever you think is right Smiley I am sure you are smarter than this cheater Cool

Thats an interesting game. Looks like LIMX have some unbidden fan Grin. I suppose that is either a teenager or thirdworlder  Roll Eyes. Or he just wants to play with you a little Grin
He sells his LIMX immediately always bittrex.

He manipulated the coinbase and vout.

Code:
  "vin": [
        {
            "coinbase": "03d17601062f503253482f0429db6e55084101522c8506020000",
            "sequence": 0
        }

It's very interesting what you learn everything. Dash seems to have some major weaknesses.

Lawsky's final legacy:-
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/06/03/wall_street_regulator_releases_final_bitcoin_regulations

1)  Companies will not need prior approval to carry out software or app updates. "We have no interest in micro-managing minor app updates. We’re not Apple," he told attendees.
2)  The regulator will not be regulating software developers — only the financial intermediaries. If you are not holding funds, you don't need a licence.
3)   BitLicense applications won't need their own special application — they can be applied for at the same time as the more common money transmitter license.
4)   Companies will not have to send duplicate reports of "suspicious activity" just because something happens with Bitcoins — digital and non-digital currency will be treated the same
5)  Bitcoin companies will not need prior approval from the DFS when raising venture capital, unless the investor is planning to direct management or policy changes

It sounds like maybe LIMX changed something in the code

I'd put DASH on it that whatever the hell that is - most likely no biggy for us

edit: I'm actually trying to sell dump my LIMX - but not trying to hard I guess - So I can yet be done with another item called a coin
nasty little buggers
Heh, then remove LIMX from your signature! Cheesy Made any decent profit out of LIMX?
