What is a cheap, reliable, 100% uptime, privacy minded vps company that also accepts Bitcoin or Dash?

You can use vultr.com, they very cheap, reliable, 100% uptime, and also accepting BTC

Im having 2 MN on vultr, uptime 8 weeks never had any downtimes!

I would be gratefull if you would use this affiliate link, i will get 5$, thats 1 month free MN server

http://www.vultr.com/?ref=6820550

Wink

p.s. they also have F2A security, and you can disable port 22 after you setup your MN so that nobody can even try to connect to your Masternode

also, i love the snapshot option, after you setup your MN 100%, you do snapshot of MN...later if you mess something up like i did... just restore your snapshot and continue with your MN in 15min

I was looking at vultr.com before, but didn't see a Bitcoin logo, they should put it somewhere Smiley Looks like a lot of people here like Vultr.com, if I go with them do I want Vultr Compute Instances? Is everyone using the $5 per month option? So two masternodes is $10 per month.

I just installed Fail2Ban on my PI2 as a test. You can BAN an IP addres after some attempts. I set mine to BAN permanently after 3 tries  Grin

If you want to open port 22 for maintainance, this could be a solution.

Wow, they have no clue as to what we are about!  They also seem seriously lazy as well.  I'm not impressed.

"We are not advertising anonymity when we're not anonymous nor are we advertising privacy when we're not actually private."

Actually, that is a bit of a silly comment because Bitcoin is anonymous and it does promote itself as such all over the place both formally and informally.

Just try discovering the identities of the last 4 years of bitcoin thieves from purely blockchain information if you don't think so.

The monetary property of cash (electronic or otherwise) which mitigates the ability to trace identities using information gleaned from outside the blockchain is called fungibility and even Gavin Andresen could not argue with the fact that Dash improves on bitcoin's fungibility by an order of magnitude without compromising any of its other monetary properties.

let them fork silly changes to the bitcoin core and talk about it for years instead of doing it. They will talk the same shit when dash hits 10.000 dollar and btc is still on 250 dollars.

and that comment about voting / forking
good luck, if they approach the fork like that
nobody will change (new fork)

You two are wrong, he has a point and the point is solid - until somebody really puts effort and skills into taking down Darkash, nobody will ever know how secure the network is.

Good luck getting any of them to admit it.  Seriously, BTC seems like a mafia lately.  I honestly thought Kristov Atlas and Andreas Antonopoulos would have at least mentioned us a little after the DASH team has done so much.  But maybe they are quiet because loose ends weren't tied up perfectly yet.  I certainly hope they'll take another look at us once v 12 is out.  Bitcoin was an amazing breakthrough, but it's stagnant.  DASH will soon complete the vision.

Its an interesting point that it would take a silk road event for people to try and attack the anonymity.

However, I'd suggest that the competition have been trying.

Second, Silk road users were tracked through tor leaks or issues about incompatibility with tor and the way captcha works - well, that's the official story, from memory.

DASH is obsolete with what is being proposed for Bitcoin.  It never was anything more than a Bitcoin clone with coinjoin/tumbling.  Your thoughts?

I'm not sure just pure block-chain anonymity equals actual anonymity in a real world sense and I swear I have yet to see a video or article that doesn't start with "Bitcoin, a anonymous cryptocurrency..."
