Why to say goodbye to Darkcoin Darkcoin is a very potential coin, in the near future, its price will be like to take off like a rocket! Good luck to you. This is a well known troll in several threads, spreading fud just ignore him. Recently he was trying to force people to sell off for cheap, as the price was suppose to drop to 0.0012 after the hike. We can in a very low price to buy, and then sell when the price is high Good grasp of market trends, From the market benefit easily [

Yah, but n00b did it about a week ago, not that having two choices is bad (actually it'd be super if both could be put up on the front page) It's a bit more complex to do n00bs but it's really nice an he must have put some time into it for all of us, but his work got kind of buried in the thread. maybe a direct link to the download? After all, it should be done off line anyway https://github.com/n00bsys0p/bitcoinpaperwallet/archive/darkcoin.zipn00b, maybe we can host it somewhere, if it's ok with the licence, and add a bunch of fun covers, like for holidays, etc... for it? It's already hosted here, for everyone's perusal - but as you say that is literally a reference copy - they should only ever be created entirely offline in a secure environment. As I've mentioned the codebase is fully checkable, and I deliberately didn't go to the stage of hacking around with the source to make it automatically select DRK, so the changes can be as transparent as possible. Thanks for your support :-) Thanks so much TS, that's awesome of you :-) And thanks for all your help to the community! I don't know if cantonbecker is ignoring other alts or is just on a break or what - last commits were about a month ago, so maybe just taking time to integrate, or leaving people time to make a good number of pull requests. The NXT pull has been ignored as yet too.

Isn't a Chinese markets news post completely irrelevant if p2p currency is officially banned in China?
They keep their government controlled banks from dealing with crypto currencies, but aside from that, they can't do anything to stop people from using them, no government can. Regarding the news about China, it's just again the same rumor from 2 weeks ago, the only official statement was on 21st to day that it was not truth and it was just a rumor, some random news website picked again the same news.

ZeroCash: 1. Paper due out 18 May. 2. Project open source 3. looking for developers to implement. Guess that means, we think this is the way to do it, but we don't have anyone to do it. (I'm sure they have actually done quite a lot of code, but there seems to be some gaps). disclaimer on zeroCoin, ~Zerocash

IMO - the existing one is better than all of them. But in terms of looking forward, something along these lines, but not this one, which is cleaner and stands out more at payment points:

So according to minute 9 to 10 he implies that we must trust those who setup the pc which will generate the key and that they will keep no copy of that key, or that they will have no preknowledge of randomness or "fixing" of the randomizer in order to know how the generation will go... How can they ever prove that they haven't got a copy of the key or that they don't know how the key was generated? (or even that the key was transmitted through frequencies to another computer). They can't, because they can't prove a negative... so uncertainty will always loom... these are stuff to be paranoid about and the theory that someone actually has the master key despite its public "destruction" will escalate pretty quickly.

Matthew Green ~20-25 thinks its a non issue, issue. At 22-25 someone asks the same question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXU65XsLiFkI wonder if they will use SHA3 OR X11

That's normal, they add first the article and section about the coin, and after some time they might add the exchange market. That article/section doesn't mean they are going to add the coin, but more like they added that coin to their database, sort of recognizing the coin.

Just a reminder, there is a 60 Darkcoin Bounty (may be more) to fix the R9 290 bug with the miner.
Summary of the problem: after 9 minutes, I loose 10% of max-hasrate I can only recover with a reboot.
The loss happened on the exact same second for all the 290 in the rigg. The cards in the same rigg that are not 290 did not suffer a loss. The problem happened on 3 different motherboard. Many other people have the same problem with the same cards on various OS. I have the problem on Bamt with different drivers. I have the same problem with or without overclocking. If I launch 4 different sgminer, each one with one card active, even if theres is a delay between the launch, about 9 minutes later, at the exact same second, the loss happened. I put a second PSU on my rigg: does not change a thing: at the exact same second, no matter what psu the card is plugged in, the loss happened Once the loss happened, My cards remain stable but there is a 10% loss in max-hasrate. Before and after the drop, gpu-engine, gpu-clock, intensity seems to remain the same.
