Why coin markets are hidden behind the left top button (like mobile version of a menu button)? I think some users might not understand directly where they are. Also, why menu icons and not some text underneath? This is really confusing. If you are not logged in, the menu is text, after logging in, the menu is icons!!  Undecided

ps. i m already a member, i m just asking.

All exchange platforms shows you everything, order books, charts etc without the need to register in plain sight, no need to press a button to reveal the markets and then click on the market!

Yah, I know.  I better shut up though, this person would be too hilarious if he weren't such a sad soul.  Problem is, he doesn't seem to want to learn from his mistakes, but rather is pulling at straws trying to blame everyone else for his poor judgment.

I know I could lose every cent I've put into this coin, but I didn't spend actual money until ... what, the second month or so?  I felt very good about Evan, just from the beginning, he seemed like a real excited genius.  Making mistakes from excitement and wanting to jump in with both feet, fixing mistakes the best he could as fast as he could.  He already was throwing out improvements left and right, and THAT was when I realized I needed to invest some actual money to increase my holdings.  And I didn't risk more than I could afford to lose (well, can't really afford to lose, but it won't kill my family).

I know I'm older, probably slightly wiser and certainly I've been somewhat conservative (though, I just couldn't get more cash, LOL!)  Still, I hope that if I had bet on the wrong horse, I would have at least been introspective about it, try to learn.  Heck, I lost half my coin when I tried to sell high and buy lower, but it never went lower, and I had to buy back higher!  I learned.  I learned not to play with my coins!  LOL.

Hi TanteStefana2,
Probably my post will be out of context, but I want to write here, before a full dump or a full pump.
I didn't sell my DRKs the last days for several reasons. One of them was the hard work of the dev team (Evan mainly) and the DRK community (cheaplin,Alex you and many others, sorry, I can't remember the name of so many people).
Other reason was because I believe in this product (yeah, I don't like the name too much, but it can be promoted with a little marketing later).

But the most rare reason when I was thinking about DRK (sell or hold, that's the question), was you. Not sure if you are a woman or a man, but your nickname looks like a woman, and you are a rare specimen on these forums (too much kids and testosterone all around).
Few pages ago, you was writing about DRK and it was the last click to hold all my DRKs.
If go down, we will be in the same ship. if go up, hope we can prepare a virtual party sometime in the near future.

I'm not so young, but I'm energetic and happy to be here with all these contributors.

The stories of people and their experiences bring and keep people up and together.
It is 100%  sure that human will bring closer to human than the product.
Thats why we need good community with pro behaviour not childish.
I love posts of TanteStef, luke997, coins101 (this one is funny - remember beer with luke997 when we retire Wink) AlexGR, J. Livermore, Ozzie and Chaeplin (mr. tech president - LOL) and Duffie of course - when I read their posts, I know they bring something more that just "words" on the thread but I stand forward and keep my drk hard even if there is the doubt and fear sometimes.
Anyway we`re going to $300, and meaby will sell some Wink
I just love you guys Wink
Glad you are here.
btw. I`ve never felt before that crypto community can be so warm and pleasant.

What I can see is that the payment for MN is always 10%.
It should not be 20%? For the real payment.
Well I think is easy to change...
While you're at it, why not 30%?  lol Smiley

Nxt is so closed shop. The Masternodes in Darkcoin actually function like a POS system if you think about it.

Checkpointing should stay for RC3/4 to have a stable network while hardforking, but after DarkSend is finalized it should go out with a new fork. Checkpointing centralizes the network.

Checkpointing is good

a) for testing dev updates on mainnet that have a certain risk of causing network forks (like the masternode payments bug)

and

b) small coins or shitcoins that experience 51% attacks due to lack of hashpower

...so it's not something that we really want to have on a permanent basis, lest we "associate" ourselves with the (b) crowd.

LoL. You can give the defensive remarks a rest on this one - it was a joke  Smiley

NXT and DRK are not in competition with each other. One's a bank, the other's eBay. They won't be stepping on each other's toes.

Once again...be diversified...I`m a Darker, I`m a NXTer, I`m a Vertan, I`m a Bitcoiner....I still don`t see any point in putting all eggs in one basket and be a fanboy of a single coin. Of course I`m happy having weighted DRK much heavier according to my expectations  Wink

If i look at your eggs i am missing ltc. Do you gernerally dont have them or only temporary.
Once knc has delivered its first batch i only see people working on roi before their miners get
paperweights. Nethash yesterday was 320gh. I dont want to shout out but i think ltc is done.

I dropped the small LTC position over a year ago. I don`t see any point in holding LTC.

Edit: other than liquidity maybe, if I was a fund. But I`m not.

New money flowed temporarily to nxt until RC3 and when everything will work fine they will come back.
New money in nxt is not the money of the nxt community

+1.

I dropped my last LTC last week. (Also dropped my PPC weeks ago).

The two biggest investments I held long term were NXT and DRK.

If you look  on the btc-e trollbox it looks like there are a lot of people dont see what happens with all this
Asic scrypt mining rigs coming to the ltc network. More often you can read why did ltc not follow btc price increase and why is ltc going down. I think there is a lot of ltc money switching to drk yet and in the near future. The only reason i have not dumped all my ltc is finally realising my lost i have with ltc.

I think the real reason LTC is declining is because there are now alternatives to Bitcoin with genuine differentiators which weren't there before.

It's no accident that NXT and DRK are up there. Between BTC-NXT- and DRK you've got all bases covered:

[1] - reserve currency

[2] - anonymous transactions (not supported by Bitcoin or NXT)

[3] - POS and 2nd generation services (not supported by Bitcoin or Darkcoin)

Litecoin doesn't have its own "sector" any more - it used to be the fact that it was SCRYPT. But that is no longer a distinguishing feature since all POW currencies are lumped in the same sector now that bigger differentiators are here such as dark networks, POS and 2nd generation services.

So LTC is now on the road to definite terminal decline IMO. BTC-e troll box is in denial. But denial is a river in Egypt because there's no way LTC's going back to 0.03 as some of them are harping over there. You only have to look at the 1-week BTC-LTC chart to see that the longterm downward momentum is massive. It's Niagra Falls.
