Mostly they are informational websites at this stage. Platforms for crypto services hopefully a few years down the pipe. These are what I am using to build / learn web design and prove a concept so we can draw up a plan and get a team on board. (web designers, editors, journalists)

We get up to 30+ domains we are building really quick. (all in beta stages) We cover 5 coins and 5 websites for each plus a few others we think have value. In total since March we got over 130 crypto domains and are registering 1-2 more a day or so on average.

I want to make a directory of links, informational, free, where to buy, and 24-7 support for each coin. If our support service can ever get enough momentum I want to hire IT pros to help large businesses that need crypto currency consulting. Being in NY I know the trend has just started and many people require assistance starting crypto.

My thought if that creating these linking websites through the best SEO optimized domains we could get net out wide enough to find where we can focus our efforts.

I see. Throw as many domains as you can at the wall Google and see which ones stick. Wpexplorer.com, a friend of mine runs this site and it can give you a lot of very useful advice on WordPress design. Check the freebie link, he has a selection of good free themes that you can use to replace that stock WordPress theme you are running on all your sites. Good luck, I wish you success.

You hit it on the head! Thank you for that page, I am going to look into it. Been meaning to change into a professional layout after some practice with wordpress. I wasn't sure to use wordpress or drupal, but I think wordpress is going to be the one.

Why does the price fall?! Undecided
From my personal point of view (and not the opinion from my group) the main factor is the Bitcoin auction results announcement on next monday (Jun 30).

if you feel that the maximum bid was a way under the average BTC price of the last days, be prepare, DRK will go down in a equivalent proportion  (could go up but no without the support of RC3 enforcement / RC4 announcements). In that case sell your DRKs and buy it back next week at a better price.

if you feel that the maximum bid was a little over the average BTC price, Hold, don't sell your DRKs. if you don't need the cash for living, you can buy more DRKs at discount price.

Only the insiders know with anticipation the results. Market is not strong enough yet to handle ~30k news (considering that is not a big event like MTGox).

Almost all Alt-coins are under this pressure. The good ones will survive next week market shake.

if you feel that the maximum bid was a way under the average BTC price of the last days, be prepare, DRK will go down hard in a equivalent proportion  (could go up but no without the support of RC3 enforcement / RC4 announcements). In that case sell your DRKs and buy it back next week at a better price.

You two seem to be at cross purposes.

The OP was referring to the DRK / BTC market. minerjav's response relates to the DRK / USD market.

The most obvious reason for the dip to me seems that anon-coin flavour of the week, VRC, is being pumped to kingdom come right now while DRK is in 'technical consolidation mode' which doesn't light too many candles with markets.

I truly, sincerely, do not get VeriCoin.

I do get that getting exposure in Coindesk pumped the price... but I'm talking about the coin itself. Too... jack-of-all-trades to convince me.

Senor Anony Nakamoto has been active lately. Highly critical of all anonymity oriented coins so far.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=362468.msg7513111#msg7513111

I was pretty high on CN coins, but have started to dilute my position a bit. Bummer about not doing it in the recent Mintpal peak, but no big deal as most of my coins are my own minted ones from cheap resources. I just don't see XMR etc as a long term solution and his posts are very detailed about all solutions put forward so far. He is not very high on Darkcoin either, but we knew that.

I am waiting to see RC4 announcements to see what Evan and co. have designed. It will sway some folks one way or another. IP obfuscation *should* be a goal for any coin claiming anonymity in addition to the blockchain obfuscation.

I just got another one as well.

But aren't we in danger of creating 2 tiers of DRK "citizens" ?

An "elite" Masternode class who get interest payments, and the rest who get nothing.

This thread is rapidly becoming the domain of the former. They'd better hope their 'lesser' compatriots don't dump for another one that gives them 'staking interest' whatever the size of their holding.

Just saying - we might as well acknowledge and discuss this before the fudsters start ramming it down our throats.

At this stage, DRK is directly connected with BTC. This link is changing really fast (at least faster than many predict) for the benefit of DRK.
Bitfinex is too complex for new small investors, and the others DRK/USD exchanges are not big enough (from promotion perspective) to make big price changes at the moment.

EDIT:
Let me include the original post with both possibilities (to avoid quoting out of context with only one option)

That will become irrelevant once DRK is open sourced and starts to see real use. Also, there are already nodes with fractional ownership.

Ah !

I hadn't thought of that. Is that the new stuff that was introduced with RC3 ? i.e. the people can "pool" their holdings and receive MN payments based on the proportion of their contribution ?

ok, I'm reasonably ok about that again. I like running a masternode but don't really want to turn myself into an "elite" holder. I'd prefer if everyone had some horse in the race and the MN 'pooling' sounds like one way to facilitate that.

What about the VRC pump ? Should I throw some BTC at it ? I've resisted so far but the 4hr chart is now 20 degrees off the vertical with no major correction in 5 days. What's this "Verisend" stuff ? AntonyNakamoto says that POS anonymity is always going to be centralised but DRK's implementation is vulnerable to sybil attacks. I probably prefer the odd sybil attack over the centralisation but I'd like to explore more anyway.

Earn your own DRK coins by mining at the multipool. Not only that, you can earn DRK using your old ASIC hardware on SHA256 and SCRYPT coins!

DarkCoin by xpool - DRK Multipool

PROP reward system
DRK Payouts
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:

How does it work?

xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Currently there is no set interval as there needs to be enough found and confirmed blocks to make trading worthwhile on the exchanges. We don't want to finish a shift only to find out, the exchanges are going to eat up the payout in fees or limit the withdraw with a large minimum. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into DRK. Once enough confirmed blocked are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Trading" status while all the exchanged coins are calculated into DRK and then queued for payment. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the DRK payments are sent.

As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient DRK can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts will be set to a schedule and payouts more frequent and less worry about the exchanges. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better.
If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.

The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired DarkCoin.
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

Cheers!

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

Congrats the first one is waking up. The masters start do run out of village Idiots who serve them (the moved to veri and become masters themselves)

If you could string a proper sentence together and didn't have to cower behind a 'newb' account, you might be more convincing.
