Banning on "bad masternode signatures" is temporary removed.
This will help other nodes and yours.

So, *if* my masternodeprivkeys are banned, anyone running 10.11.5 will ignore the ban and my MNs should get paid eventually anyway?

I have updated my MNs to 10.11.5 but not generated a new privkey for each, not got any payments yet.

Banning last 24 hours.
Banning is on ip address not on pubkey holding 1K or masternode pubkey.

If "bad masternode address signature thing" is occurred, bp is new ip + new genkey + new address for 1K.

Can we see somehow the banned IP addresses?

I don't think so.

Banned by peered clients.

So we could be banned, which lasts 24 hours, and have no way of knowing it?  Geepers!  I doubt this is an offence that happens often, but it should be viewable somewhere.  I scanned my debug logs for "ban" and didn't get anything, so hopefully I haven't been banned for anything, LOL

If anyhow NM is banned(ip or pubkey..), ping of NM will not be not relayed.
So if a NM is green on the list at least 2 hours, I think the NM is ok.

http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html
https://elbzo.net/masternodes.html

Bugger, I just changed all my privkeys but probably didn't need to. All green on your lists. Will wait impatiently for that 1st payment... Wink

"Unable fo bind to 0.0.0.0.9999" when launching  Undecided

Same problem as here, remains unsanswered : https://darkcointalk.org/threads/unable-to-bind-9999.677/

I can't launch the wallet, and no other coin on google mentionning this error.  Any solution ?

Refer back to that link. I just gave a shot at a fix

Thanks !

That is the "dirty" fix !! Check out chaeplin's answer a few posts back. Much more elegant and secure.

My node just got paid.

I just left it alone. Hadn't even upgraded to 10.11.5.

Masternode payments seem to be working.

3 payments so far, right under the 24h mark. Not equally distributed between my nodes, but thats called variance, just like with mining. Statistically, though, spot on, perfect distribution

ITS RAINING DARKCOINS !!! WOOO-HHOOO !!

Sorry, I get overly excited right before breakfast.

saw an fpga working this morning for x11 and it's pretty amazing hash...
now i understand why its not profitable anymore to mine darkcoin Sad
when you mine darkcoin you lose money instead of wining
better to buy darkcoin then mine it with gpu
i let you check by yourself even with the modified gpu miner that give over 4.5mh per 280X

Proof, or just FUD. Or at least some more credible info. Mh/s, board type, where, why, who, pics? screenies?

Plus, the cost of setting up an FPGA is much higher that a mining rig. And unless you reeeally overclock, you cant get more than 4.5mh per 280x, and its just not worh it in heat and electrics. I do 4.1mh with undervolted 280x, 5x = 650'ish watts

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/darkcoin-fpga-mining-co-op.836/

The reason its not "profitable" to mine DRK is this.

I know. That why I think LTC is dead. ASIC farmers are the biggest dumpers. GPU miners are fleeting out.
The only thing positive I see about this is a huge crash on the shitcoin market. In no time, 90% will die off.

Thats one of my top five reasons DRK gives me a boner.

PLUS... ASIC companies are all... (except gridseed)... stupidly behind schedule. Pre-order are much much way behind BTC equivalents. Everyone is getting seriously burnt, while in the back-end they're mining the shit out of it for "testing reasons". All of them are promissing double and triple MH rates, already rolling out batch 2 or 3 pre-orders before releasing batch 1... its just immoral and ridiculous.

Just FYI - I used the privkey regeneration trick and I finally got my first payment....weird though, it paid out only 0.5...when all other payments have been 1.000xxxx.
Anyone know why that is?

Oh wait..all payouts from pool_unknown_11...are for 0.5 instead of 1.
Just curious.

Expected, yes. Since the enforcement is not on, the pool can "manipulate" how much they pay out to the Masternodes if they wish. Heck, they could do 100% if they wanted right now. In this case, pool_unknown_11 is still using a previous version from about a month ago, and have not updated. This version was when MN payouts were set at 10%. Hence the 0.5 payout. Now its 20%. They are seriously out of date.

When the enforcement-switch is turned on, everyone who has NOT updated to the new 10.11.xx version will have all their block orphaned.

So basically, Evan created yet another totally new concept that "we" dubbed "spork". A soft-fork that can be switched to a hard-fork, and back to soft-fork if needed, in case anything goes wrong.

So we're running a "test" on mainnet without affecting the network at all.
So absolutely nothing wrong here, except for pool_unknown_11 that is clearly out of the loop and being irresponsible and incompetent.

Congrats on your payout though! Feels good doesnt it? Wink
