This perticular venture once at scale will be a 24-7 live help desk for DarkCoin on a well designed platform. Right now we are in beta for 31 websites while we proove the concept to bring on a professional web designer and editor.

Beta for 31 websites? Why 31? Why not use one main site if it is all the same concept? I find it can be difficult to properly beta 2 or 3 sites at a time, not to mention 31 sites would also require separate administrative, seo, and social media efforts. I am not sure I understand what your trying to accomplish; do you have any details you would be willing to share?

Anyone know what is causing a small number of MNs to get banned?

If I had to guess I'd say they probably haven't updated to 10.11.5.

The network has been experiencing some odd banning behavior caused by bad masternode signatures. I removed the code that bans the other party when this happens will I'll find the underlying cause and fix it in RC4. Please update if you're experiencing any problems or run a masternode.

How can i actually verify that my MN is working? Have 2 MNs that have been up since softfork launch, (updated within a few hrs of latest version) and one of them has gotten 1 drk payment, the other 0.

Both local and remote have latest darkcoind, and i have ran the masternode sync..

Its no fun looking in the list hehe, some have gotten 9drk, many 4 etc...  Huh

Dunno, but one of my nodes has been paid 6 times, and one hasn't been paid at all, and they've been up exactly as long with exact same settings, so I believe it's just variance.

Thanks for the info guys. No offence taken.

I took OzzieCoin's offter to build me a masternode for 10 DRK... I know a bit about networking but I'm Windoz/Microsoft and "./darkcoind getinfo" is about the extent of my Linux knowledge.

Ozzie has been helping me with a lot of n00b questions and has even given me quick effective guides on how to build and maintain future masternodes rather effortlessly, so make sure you tip him as well  Wink

My results so far (all been up and running for weeks, all kept up to date)
MN1 4 payouts
MN2 1 payout
MN3 0 payouts
MN4 4 payouts*

*last 2 despite being greyed out on chaeplins status page, but everything looks fine at my end and it's getting paid, so for the time being I'm leaving it alone and trusting 'masternode list | grep <IP>'  = :1

Mostly they are informational websites at this stage. Platforms for crypto services hopefully a few years down the pipe. These are what I am using to build / learn web design and prove a concept so we can draw up a plan and get a team on board. (web designers, editors, journalists)

We get up to 30+ domains we are building really quick. (all in beta stages) We cover 5 coins and 5 websites for each plus a few others we think have value. In total since March we got over 130 crypto domains and are registering 1-2 more a day or so on average.

I want to make a directory of links, informational, free, where to buy, and 24-7 support for each coin. If our support service can ever get enough momentum I want to hire IT pros to help large businesses that need crypto currency consulting. Being in NY I know the trend has just started and many people require assistance starting crypto.

My thought if that creating these linking websites through the best SEO optimized domains we could get net out wide enough to find where we can focus our efforts.

Using SEO we found that websites like our FreeDarkCoins.com have a 50% + rate of organic search engine traffic and we hope to grow, starting with the ones that the community demand the most.

In a few years once a team is assembled and business created here in NY where I live. My plan is to create a company that supports crypto currency adoption. By converting businesses, games, ect to crypto payment solutions for mobile, laptop, desktop and any other devices that may apply.

Yeah, the daemon tell the truth every time Wink
But chaeplin has been updating his scripts too, should be good. When did you last see them greyed out? Have you double-checked with https://elbzo.net/masternodes.html ?

My nodes were up since 8 after 10.11.4 launch, so just about 48h in. You lucky dog! Your stats are above expectance! Here is mine

MN1 = 0
MN2 = 2
MN3 = 1

Ah thanks I'd forgotten about elbzo.net, yeah the MN greyed out on chaeplins page is shown good on elbzo, only marked 'Unlisted' under the darkcoin.io column.

I see. Throw as many domains as you can at the wall Google and see which ones stick. Wpexplorer.com, a friend of mine runs this site and it can give you a lot of very useful advice on WordPress design. Check the freebie link, he has a selection of good free themes that you can use to replace that stock WordPress theme you are running on all your sites. Good luck, I wish you success.

I spent it all on pizza long ago:  https://blockchain.info/address/1XPTgDRhN8RFnzniWCddobD9iKZatrvH4

3-4 years ago there were less than 100 people frequenting this forum, and I was pretty happy to trade 10,000 coins for pizza.  I mean people can say I'm stupid, but it was a great deal at the time.  I don't think anyone could have known it would take off like this. Smiley

Laszlo

I think we should donate some DRK his way. I'm going to send him some pizza on my birthday.

It means the pool is shutting down after being hacked. Funds are safe pool members will be emailed about their outstanding balances. Nothing to panic about.

The moral of the story is don't leave your coins on pools.

That said as it's the official pool I'm sure everything will be sorted out.
