RC4 wont save this coin, too much competition and not unique enough You may be right, and I'd be the first one to acknowledge that, but if so then we're looking at the likely demise of the entire altcoin market with the exception of so called "2nd gens" like NxT and Etherium. Anonymity was the last / only great opportunity for plugging any substantial gap in Bitcoin's feature set and DRK was/is the only real challenge in that market. Sure there are others now, but the basis for their existence was opportunism on seeing an already rolling bandwagon. There's nowhere near as much mileage in that as there is from acting first. If DRK doesn't succeed in breaking through Litecoin's BTC trading ratio record (factored for coin supply) then none of the others will and neither are any future altcoins having a purely currency role likely to. People tend to open their mouths and post whatever flippant comment comes of the top of their head according to the prevailing trading sentiment of the day, but if you stop and think about what you're saying then some profound implications flow from it.

First movers advantage, BTC as the first crypto and LTC as the first accepted alt.
Find another alt that has pumped, crashed ~60%. Then sustainably risen again (Not spiked). Not to mention one thats main feature is better implemented by other tech. Have fun.
You don't have to agree, as a holder I don't expect you to, doesn't make my opinion any less valid.
You're talking nonsense. I was talking about the age now you switch to other random information that everyone should know by now. Nice argument.

I have no interest in arguing with you, literally 0. In fact I'm not even sure what your argument is, compare the age of BTC, LTC and DRK is not a valid argument as to whether the coin will increase to its ATH again. That only holds water if you believe that it has the longevity of BTC and LTC and I provided reasons why I dont think it does (see first crypto, first accepted alt), the "other random information" are real arguments as to why it may not go to ATH again or has a long life ahead of it. In reality the fact that I think LTC is also dying doesn't really do your argument much favours either if such an old coin can dwindle away. Yawn, the alt section is littered with exactly these sorts of comments "Don't worry the coin is still young compared to BTC".

The difference between LTC and DRK is LTC not bringing anything new to the table over BTC. The decreased block generation time, increased maximum number of coins, different hashing algorithm are tiny improvements. The coin only gained value due to ASICs entering the race. It was a save heaven to the miners that could no longer get a ROI. DRK is bringing a lot to the table. Darksend, Masternodes so far, and it's still open to hardforks if major changes are needed/planned. This is a massive thing that differentiate it from LTC and BTC, both of which are against hard forks. This means we can still make ground breaking changes to the coin where LTC and BTC are as is.

Yep, all that is true, don't get me wrong I'm not championing LTC in the slightest I sold all of those months ago and I said above I think its dying. LTC doesn't offer a lot over BTC but at the time of its creation it did. It only looks like no real advantages in hindsight due to all the features the new alts have. I'm also not arguing that DRK's features aren't desirable at all or that at least at the time it was one of the first cryptos to go after anonymity, what Im saying is that I don't see it going back to 0.025 and definitely not if BTC goes on a major rally. As said, my opinion.

'dreamspark' - unable to comprehend innovation. Spot the irony, eh? Nowhere did I say it wasn't innovative, I rode the DRK train... The initial innovation is what got the price so high in the first place. This is about future prospects in regards to price and my opinion is that with all the anon competition and also the big drop in price that 0.025 won't be visited again, particularly if BTC rallies.

mike x3 predictions have been very accurate. Guy is a guru
Didn't that Mike guy basically predict this same exact pattern like a month or so ago, based off of charts?
Down to .008-.01ish... probably rebound from there. I can't help but think of that blood in the streets saying... unless you need money right away, not sure why people would sell at these prices.
i"m pretty sure he said .005 - .008.

The obvious solution would be to open the port and try again Probably needs to be forwarded from your router to the machine.

Try specifying your external ip in the config file. externalip=yourip It's not gonna work properly on a dynamic IP though!
