well, shojayxt was not a troll. Seems like he hated some of the excessive salesmanship of this coin during the MN RC3 and probably pissed off at everything related to DRK by now. I see no reason to attack everyone again and again like he is doing because of what happened.

I am not adding anyone to my ignore list.

Ha ha, yeah I was a Darkcoin fan.  But I'm not blind.  This coin isn't anything special.  It's been hyped so much that many of you actually believe that darkcoin will overtake bitcoin and be worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars a coin.  You also do a good job of attacking anyone that doesn't blindly follow your cult mentality towards Darkcoin.  My biggest issue is anytime anyone is the slightest bit critical of Darkcoin, no matter what, even if they are correct in their assessment.  They get attacked, tod to get the fuck out, called a troll, accused of spreading FUD etc...  

After every failure you guys come out and spin that failure as a good thing.  Well nobody else does and it's reflected in the drop in the price.  Now it's RC4 RC4 RC4 blah blah blah.  Next it will be RC5 then RC6, then more blah blah blah.  

But I'm sure everything is perfect now.  The dev wrote a two sentence blurb stating they are working hard, big things in the future, blah blah blah.  The same propaganda/hype that you see in every coin thread.

So my advice to you is buy buy buy!  The dev posted twenty words!  Darkcoin is going to the moon!

The excessive salemanship of this coin is annoying but it has nothing to do with my attitude.  My attitude is the product of a few assholes in this thread that have attacked myself and many others for merely questioning Darkcoin or not blindly following the rest of the lemmings.

I've been looking for a feature on Bitcoinwisdom that lets you do that. It's the only thing they're missing right now as that property is "read-only".

It needs to be made "read-write".

Increasing the price of Darkcoin is irrelevant to me at this time.  I've mad an enormous amount of money off Darkcoin already.   I hold less than 500 coins after selling the majority of my holdings when the price was much higher.  I might invest again but not at these prices.  I think it's still overvalued.  In fact I'll likely sell off what I have left and buy back lower.  I think it still has a ways to go before it hits bottom.

Ok, I have been critical of some of the excessive promotions too, but I chose not to attack them because it was better than those spreading excessive FUD. Neither extremes are good, but situations are impossible in a "herd". It doesn't mean I take it out on everyone in the "herd" or "cult". What would it achieve?

The coin will go where the technicalities and everything else that comes with a crypto goes. Easy to attack others, much harder to defend.

You were provoked into a far more confrontational stance that you started out with.

This also happened to mikethemike when he gave his advice about the "going tho 0.008" after the big spike.

Not very helpful. I also don't like the over hyping (although have been guilty of participating) - I had your role in the BLackcoin thread way back months ago before it's big pump and got similarly hounded, that's why I can identify with your point of view.

EDIT: It's not so much the "overhyping" that's a problem, it's the inability to distinguish between contrary views made in good faith (as I believe mikethemike's was) and genuine FUD. If people stop for a moment and apply a moment's thought before responding, give the benefit of the doubt in ambiguous situations, that would be better.
