Darkcoin solves this problem by implementing an ahead-of-time CoinJoin implementation called Darksend.
There we go again ... even after all the shitstorm around here trying to make a point about leaving cj out of the picture ... it just got primetime, front row seats at Darksend's game ... Way to go

That needs to be rewritten something like: "Darkcoin solves this problem by implementing Darksend, an all new denomination and multi-round mixing technology using a fully decentralised MasterNode network that then allows for anonymous sending of funds." Good spotting (of the bleeding obvious) SlientBit.

Ok, here it is, in all its beauty. Top 50 Posters, all fabulously awesome people. It includes all 3133 pages, today. If this has any value for you, and if you like to see more, consider a donation: XtAdMy5nSxArut6rKKLQXxm84rpJNipXibSo, I'm officially outed. My strategy has been: 1. Keep the conversation bumping until the project is where it is, out of pre-production and into production 2. Keep the thread on page 1 3. Trying to get people thinking about the various possibilities 4. Provide some level of balance to the people who would assume this is all about using a currency for illegal use 5. Do research for lazy people 6. Broadening the conversation with external content, where possible 7. Random amusement - you need to have a little light fun when creating something big 8. Bumping the thread off mostly trolled pages 9. Keep those thread update notification emails going out 10. Troll and FUD watch I'll be glad to leave this forum once the thread is locked. Most of the useful and valuable conversations are now taking place on the darkcointalk forum. Now we are in production, my post count will likely drop. Well done everyone - the project is nearly live. So many projects fail to see themselves past the alpha - beta stage. We are ready for adoption. Our business in now north, to the moon

Ok. Here we are he night before RC5 will hit, and the price seem to be on sale mode.
I dont get this anymore. There is no logic in the price at all.
Looks like all long-term-fans already «prepared» - bought all DRKs they can afford to buy… And all «clever» traders waiting for announcement to start massive selling simultaneously. The result will be… as usual. But after drop Darkcoin will start growing again - because it is great! You said it, 'bro! Who cares about the current price? There is no coin out there that can compete with us technologically, once we build the network we will approach and overtake BTC in price per coin (marketcap will take longer due to the amount of Bitcoins). Seriously, once people wake up to the possibilities, this is going to be exciting! I'm rooting for DRK myself but let's be realistic here. Nobody overtakes BTC in years to come, especially anons.

UK Kids Football Club Sponsorship Available for Darkcoin What will this cryptocurrency sponsorship achieve? Well, for starters there is the marketing effect of a whole season of being mentioned in the media and at events – a very basic and smart approach to creating brand awareness, alongside generating interest for crypto adoption. Cryptocurrency enthusiasts tend to be quite tribal. Football, too, is based around fanatics for the sport, clubs and their players – and when you add beer to the mix then you have a double rollover effect. We are dealing with one of the team's based in Brighton, Sussex, UK. There are multiple options to increase market adoption via kids football in the UK as local business always support the kids clubs. We are looking for crypto Currencies and Crypto service providers who would like to take the opportunity in supporting kids football, you can sponsor a team or a whole club. We already have the interest of media newspaper and TV "This is not just a simple sponsorship as we will be doing Crypto Branded beer along with an open day of free giveaways . A Kids club has around 200 Kids and when they play there match's roughly 2000 people turn up also local newspapers cover the games so it's a win win situation all round. Sponsorship is as low as 1600$ or as high as 18,000$ for further information contact info@coinstructors.com

Because there is no logic to shittraders. They don't even read. They just chase waves. The coin is irrelevant. How do you chase waves if you don't keep your finger on the coin's pulse. You kinda have to follow the threads in order to know whats going on. I don't think traders are that stupid to neglect information the may have an impact on price.

Those who will follow the happenings, know that the information itself doesn't matter much if at all, unless it's really groundbreaking. Who the f will really think that some coin's real value will truly go up if they announce they will have "anonymous messages" or chat.. no one. But most everyone will think that there are enough people who think it will, see illusory superiority, and will trade accordingly.

Have you seen all the chartist posts? These people believe that squiggly lines from the past have a causal effect on the future. They do, but only in that charts are often reliable predictors of chartist trading behaviour, which can be exploited... The internationally claimed author Harpoon Spectre is currently working on the follow up to the bestselling 'Rape Yourself! - Day Trading For The Fuller Figure,' current working title is, 'Point The Gun Away From Yourself - Perforating The Witches Instead!' and I've heard it will be launched in conjunction with his new WhalerBot trading software.

OK. Just out of interest, what are your predictions on price performance today?
I think in purely price terms the last 7 days has been very positive (whitepaper etc comes under the amazingly positive category!)
My money is on no pump, just a rise to 0.008 and steady afterwards if release goes well.

This is the latest draft of the press release, please tell us what you think. Kudos to David & Vertoe for this. /* RC5 Press Release, to be released on Sept/22 */ FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Darkcoin Passes Security Review, Prepares to Open SourceSecurity researcher Kristov Atlas has concluded his code review and security audit of Darkcoin. He was solicited by the developers of Darkcoin, based on 4+ years of professionally reviewing C/C++ software, to review the code and suggest any changes which could improve the software. Kristov Atlas concluded that Darkcoin's claims of functional anonymity are well-founded. He did suggest a few concerns, which the Darkcoin team immediately fixed (the fixes will be released Monday as part of the next scheduled update to the Darkcoin client). Mr. Atlas' primary concern was that a bad actor could launch a so-called Sybil attack against the network. Evan Duffield, lead developer of Darkcoin, closed this potential attack vector and in doing so also found a way to increase the overall anonymity of Darkcoin transactions. The new update to Darkcoin, "Release Candidate 5" (RC5), will be made publically available Monday, September 22. It fixes the concerns raised by Mr. Atlas, increases anonymity, fixes bugs, and improves the user experience by implementing a new interface. After eight months of continuous improvement, the developers of Darkcoin are confident that the currency is finally ready to meet the scrutiny of coders world-wide. Duffield has announced that on September 29, the source code of Darkcoin will be opened and published. Darkcoin will become the first open-source, decentralized, anonymous crypto-currency in the industry. Future plans include the adoption of a new Instant Transactions technology which Duffield has described in his whitepaper [https://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/InstantTX.pdf]. This technology will allow Darkcoin to compete with other nearly instantaneous transaction systems such as credit cards. If successful, such an idea could revolutionize crypto-currencies by providing a decentralized payment system usable in retail stores and other face-to-face situations. The delay between sending and confirming transactions would be reduced from one hour (with currencies such as Bitcoin) to as little as twenty seconds. A future press release will describe the system in greater detail. The Darkcoin client and more information can be obtained at their website: http://www.darkcoin.io. About Darkcoin: Bitcoin works with an unprecedented level of transparency that most people are not used to dealing with. Every transaction that has ever happened is stored permanently in a ledger that is made public for the world to see, forever.
Darkcoin solves this problem by implementing an ahead-of-time CoinJoin implementation called Darksend. A user that wants to be anonymous can use the built-in technology to utilize the Masternode network to make their transaction nearly impossible to track.Contact: evan@darkcoin.ioCommunity: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc5-launching-september-22nd.2382/Future Press Releases: http://www.darkcoin.io/media.htmlProbably too late and it doesn't matter very much, but I would go with, "He raised a few concerns,"

I respectfully disagree. We are far too early in the Cryptocurrency game to crown one coin the undisputed default. Bitcoin has a huge lead right now, granted, but this coin that we will have within a month or two will be a far better user experience than BTC, and affords privacy as well! (We should be getting away from the term anonymous and stick with private.) So, like my sig says, with private, instant transactions, neither of which are offered by BTC, why would you still keep using BTC? When people start to wake up to the reality of Darkcoin, it will eventually reach that tipping point, but it won't be overnight. Don't handcuff yourself by saying it will never happen, believe that it will!
