v15 is just for removing that debugging button. Everything else on the network is looking good.

Yes, make a copy of your original wallet.dat, and transfer it to the new computer.
You then need to replace the new wallet.dat (with 0 DRK) with the old wallet.dat (which has DRK in it, so be careful).

You can only replace wallet.dat if the darkcoin-qt is not running, so first stop it, replace the wallet.dat and then restart the darkcoin-qt

Looks like a 0.0145 DRK sell bot is very active on mintpal. Only reason I can think anyone would run this operation is to keep getting prints at the bid, making it look like price is going down while not really selling any volume. In other words, somebody wants your darkcoin.

Relax, the technology is good and Darkcoin still has great things to look forward to, e.g. instant transactions.   To be honest gaining attention from the general public will take work, the cool thing is we have a solid product to promote, promotion does not replace the product, but a solid product still needs promotion. The public will need to be hand held into understanding Darkcoin, Darksend and its implications.  The general crypto public does not have the ability to judge for themselves how strong Darksend is, or will not take the time to take a look into the technology until we make them. So how are we going to achieve this?

Through the foundation efforts we need to start several initiatives to promote and educate people on Darkcoin. For example:

1. Hosting public webinars to show Darksend in action, both from an average user perspective and with someone with the expertise to explain the details of the technology, e.g. Evan, Kristov, etc.
2. After open source next week, get additional code reviews from cryptography experts with a good reputation, whether we need to hire their services or some step up voluntarily after open source.
3. If we could get some security certifications, white hat analysis, or get Darkcoin coding process ISO certified or something like that it would give non crypto folks great confidence.
3. Have Evan do some public appearances, crypto trade shows, TED, interviews, etc.
4. Start an initiative to promote Darkcoin with payment processors and crypto financial institutions. This needs to be a coordinated effort, key people in prominent payment processors, exchanges and the like need to be approached by official channels.
5. Educate and promote within specific industries of interest. with a need for our solution e.g. gaming, porn, etc.

We are taking steps in this direction, the foundation is getting organized and soon will have a formal structure, people will get to register and work groups will be formed so that there is accountability and hopefully a budget for specific initiatives.

It may surprise you but the whole world does not follow specific coin threads looking for news, thats to our advantage as early adopters. Now is our job to get involved and help Darkcoin directly there is a lot to do that is not coding related. So think in terms of what I listed above, does anybody have other ideas of things we could do to promote Darkcoin adoption?

That's exactly what this coin needs after Instant transactions  ~ Going LIVE! Evan showing he's face everywhere and promoting this all over the place.

Update seems trickier than usual if you're before v.10.12.32

Check my link if you're having troubles!

Why? It sounded like it's stopping the masternode, updating daemon on masternode, updating local wallet and starting the masternode on local again. The config file for the cold-remote disables darksend so the different keypool size won't affect older wallets.

finally someone who could disprove that rumor. So it is not necessary to transfer masternode wallets to a new generated rc5 wallet!

Yep, did mine same as I ever do, can't even remember what version the MN local wallets are, no issues.
