Why not. Someone might just go for it (it's not my order, but I might put some against it)

I think you could use an eye-opening experience like potentially losing a good chunk of your crypto to a swindler or an incompetent to truly see this MintPal fiasco for what it truly is. JL You won't find many people more paranoid about security than me, but at the same time, I haven't seen any evidence of corruption, insolvency or any of the other stuff you're alluding to, so for that reason I'm not calling it. I have seen plenty of evidence of technical "greenness" and a bit of incompetence - not the same thing. You, on the other hand do seem to be "calling it" so I think it's you that needs to trump up some evidence, not me. As I say, it may just be superficial teething troubles or it may be a fundamentally craply built site (like Cryptsy) which they won't solve - we don't know yet. Where I can sympathise with folks who have funds "locked up" is that they didn't know the site was going down for good and re-emerging with a different version. It seems to me that thats the biggest cock-up in all of this because it looks like they didn't even send out a mailer which is pretty bad. If you knew what was happening and still left your funds on there, well - I'll say no more except this is crypto, you should know what to expect by now.

The site made me reset the password but it allowed the same one to be used. Didn't prompt me for my 2 factor authentication either.
Same. After like a dozen attempts, I got 2FA to generate a fresh QR. Logged out, tried logging in, locked out. Code doesn't work. It keeps resetting the QR code and doesn't ask for verification. <-- It's broken. Also, I'm unable to place an order. <-- It's Broken. the last QR code it gives you will be the one that is enabled if you log off then try to log back in

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

the only thing that mintpal is missing is the little green man that attacks the sell wall. otherwise 2FA works, placing orders works....but I'm probably off to finex if we an get some volume going over there please

Finally, my balances showed up . I succeded with the withdrawal and should give 'em some time to fix the glitches. Also hadn't any issues with 2FA. So you got coins out to your own wallet?

I just withdrew funds without any issues. Now I'm missing two bitcoin deposits still, but that is another issue entirely.

I just withdrew a much larger amount than the first and once I clicked the link in the confirmation email, it wasn't more than 1 minute before I got a desktop notification saying the amount was transferred.

My Mintpal account still "doesn't exist" when I try to reset password or login - if anyone had this problem and it gets fixed please post. I sent like 5 emails already and submitted a support ticket but no contact.
