Has anyone tried the -wallet=filename.dat argument to see if you can use one data folder with the blockchain. That way you can still use -conf=filename.conf for each masternode and name your masternode wallets. Then it's just a matter of a shortcut to represent each masternode.
Yeah you totally can. Just point it to the config file and wallet.dat while using the same data directory. Nice. This seems like a great way to keep wallets organised too, by calling each one something which identifies it.

We've arrived at a standoff at 8 on Cryptsy. 5k worth of sellwall standing guard over the 8-9 range. Seats please.

VISA, MasterCard and Bitcoin are jealous on DRK InstantX !
if you like to notify the world, use VISA, MasterCard or Bitcoin.
For everything else there is a DRK InstantX !
bravo Evan!

Will instantX accelerates the mixing process?
Will the liquidity update be a sufficient solution?
InstantX will accelerate the mixing process but only if there are other clients available for mixing. If you've already anonymised your coins as much as you would like, why would you leave your wallet unlocked to anonymise more and pay more fees? Liquidity providers are a short-term fix in my opinion. Although there is a big incentive to run a masternode with 1000 DRK, what incentive is there to provide 1000 DRK or more for mixing? I want to set up some masternodes but have been unable to anonymise enough coins to set one up. InstantX will NOT accelerate the mixing process. I figured out a way to use the entire masternode network in a completely 100% decentralized way, but the trade off is it will require inputs that have at least 5 confirmations. However, this means that when sending a transaction, the 10 voting notes are going to be unique, so the system will be very difficult to DDOS (you'll theoretically have to DOS all masternodes to succeed). However, this means you can't send multiple transactions one after another based on InstantX, they have to be a few minutes apart. The really nice thing is this will scale now, to HUGE levels with no effect on the network. Darksend just needs more users, we can bootstrap it with the liquidity providers and it'll take a few hours for people to complete their mixing. Eventually when we have enough users, we can disable the liquidity providers and Darksend will get to the point where it just takes a few minutes. It just needs 2.5 minutes per round, so 4 rounds (which is rather good privacy) could theoretically take just 10 minutes. I'm going to record a demonstration today of InstantX and put it on YouTube, this technology is really amazing. I can't wait to hear what people think of it. I'll strikethrough the misinformation in my post then and link to your reply, because I don't want to be spreading FUD. No doubt there will be more liquidity for anonymising this way as opposed to near-instant anonymising, so it's seems like a decent trade off. Loved the InstanX video!

I feels like I should repeat this: [...]peak prices during altcoin pumps can never surpass (significantly at meaningful volume) that of the earlier pump(s)[...]
If it happens, I think it will validate DarkCoin as a real crypto coin (not "just another P$D scam").

EDIT: Ah, I see it's cryptsy. So long since I traded there I don't recognise it.

the most liquid one - cryptsy. May not have the best interface but has two-thirds of the volume at the moment.

you must set masternode=1 in the configuration
however I double checked the darkcoin.conf being .conf and not .conf.txt. Any hint?

I miss Mintpal interface and their depth charts in bitcoins with a linear scale, not a logaritmic one I always hated Mintpal's web interface. Cryptsy's is OK. Bitfinex's is sort of like-able if you get used to it. The same thing applies to their reliability. I never understood why anybody trusted Mintpal any better than Cryptsy. I have put less trust in them for the sole reason that they were younger. But make no mistake, I always hated Cryptsy (the exchange as a whole for their multiple shenanigans, starting form delayed deposits and random forced logouts, to magically disappearing account balances...). Bitfinex was honest with me so far. Too bad they don't allow margin trading on DRK. But that's because they don't have volume. Sounds like a chicken and egg problem.
