True but for that we would need better compliance from the pool OP's. In the light of the last event of pools updating for the MN payement I can make a wild guess they're not on the same page tho

The intentions of the operators are irrelevant. Most PoW currencies can be severely damaged by someone gaining control of 3-5 servers, whose IP addresses are known and whose operator identities and physical locations are easily discoverable.

Big money isn't going to come anywhere near this mickey mouse bullshit.

phzi, maybe you mis-understand my point. I mean this video shows the great work that Evan and Dev-team has been done. From the birthday of Darkcoin to today, look what we have now: Masternode Network + Privacy + InstantX on the way + Darkcoin's ecosphere become more and more stable and strong and still growing bigger and bigger + more possibility we will have based on the Masternode network and InstantX/Privacy. Not sure if this helps but I have a budget VPS from Vultr ($5 a month), it has 1 x 3Ghz+ CPU, 768Mb RAM and 15Gb Storage. Monthly bandwidth quota is 1Tb.

I have THREE Masternodes running on it and my monthly average bandwidth usage is 10% of my quota, or 100Gb.

So basically, this VPS at $5 a month is more than enough for my current requirements and if I could add more IP's I could probably add more Masternodes...!

Agreed. We could have Santa Claus himself running the top three pools, and all it would take is a skilled hacker to hijack the mining pools' servers and launch a 51% attack.

You know how everybody is always saying "the banks are out to get us" or "the government is out to get us?" Well, if that was true, and either the banks or the government actually felt threatened in the slightest way by us, how hard would it be to track down a few guys (pool operators) and coerce them?

If anybody ever actually wanted to, they could kill any PoW crypto in the world fairly quickly. Everybody thinks crypto is decentralized, but in reality all those thousands of miners go through a very few "gateways."
