Thanks for the repost of Evan's demonstration of how difficult it is to follow the money.  I keep saying it, but quantum computers are starting to roll out already, and if you think a cryptographic key will stay hidden forever, I'm afraid you're probably going to be disappointed.  A logic based system, where you can't be sure which, out of 1000 accounts, the coins came from due to simple possibility with no probabilities to help, is not going to be clearer no matter how fast you follow the mixings.

The result will always be the same, complete fungibility.

DirectBet has been nominated for the Bitcoin gambling awards 2014.

If we're your choice when it comes to betting with Darkcoins on sports, horse racing, dice and poker, please show your support and vote for us.

Thank you.

Vote for DirectBet, they are great supporters of DRK, may they become the biggest gaming site on crypto one day. Lets show some reciprocity.

Done

Does -wallet option works in this version?

Yes, it will be an included feature on all releases going forward.

i tried it today and it works well, you can rename the wallet.dat to any name (without even the .dat)
and it would still regnonice it as the wallet.dat when you started it with the -wallet command line
Very handy when more and more spyware is looking for a wallet.dat these days ....

specific commandline is :

-wallet=yr-renamed-wallet.dat-filename

That's really cool!  I didn't know about this.  I will now rename my wallets Wink

not having any wallet.dat files on my pc this sounds good,,,, can this be used on a wallet used just to store coins or is it just a master node thing ??

if it can be used on any wallet can someone point me to where i read how to use this function

cheers

Not understanding the question. If you have multiple wallet.dat files, no longer do you need to rename each one to wallet.dat in order to launch. I've created shortcuts for my masternodes in particular so all I need to do is drop in multiple wallet and config files and click each shortcut to load the appropriate pairing.

Do/can we rename the conf file the same as the wallet.dat file, so that the correct one is loaded with the matched wallet.dat without having to mess with that either?

Sorry, I should read through before posting questions, LOL

if you got the privatekey, you can determine all the wallets transactions..
with quantum calculations you could evaluate everybodys privatekey instantly, so it obviously won't be anonymous then..
irrespective of that, btc as we know it today would be dead anyway

Actually, if you can get the private key for an account number, you got the access to that account number, and can steal those coins.  Yes, you are correct, we're all in danger then.... of losing our coins.

However, even the person who has control over their account number can NOT tell with whom they have mixed.

So that shouldn't be an issue, correct me if I'm wrong.

- Honest developer. Always keeping promises (Evan and his team)
- A coin about which people write about 11 pages in a day only on this platform (323 days)
- A market valuing billions of dollars: (Deepweb)
- A fame rising to television channels.
- A force of nature like InstantX.
- A masternode hodl valuing 4 million dollars.

The result is?

A Darkcoin, unit price of which is 3 dollars while it was supposed to be 30 dollars.

I do not get it. The reason for this is Mintpal who reduced the market cap of 6000 BTC to 60 BTC?

Is it us who are too smart, or those who are doing dirty things?

Huh ETA Huh

What's suppose to be wrong with start-many?

EDIT: according to my soucre(s) there nothing wrong with start-many but I don't have time to research it right now (workin)

I followed this guide:
https://darkcointalk.org/threads/masternode-start-many-guide.2990/

Before running the start-many command masternode debug resulted in "missing input" on all masternodes. After running start-many on local debug resulted in "not capable" on all masternodes.
It is perfectly possible that I messed it up.

You happen to have any idea?
