Masternodes up again... takes about 30 mins in my case to update 3 remote & 3 local instances and backup & re-start everything

When there's not a protocol change (which only happens for main releases), you only have to replace the darkcoind on the remote instance and stop and start it. Then do a "masternode start" and it should say "remotely started".

Yep, updated in less than 1 minute with update script that was mentioned previously. Thanks for all the hard work Evan!

ltcgear.com/  claims to have asics capable hashing X11 by late January, what do you guys think?

They started a little while back with their Dual Mods.  At first I thought it was bullshit but when the DRK started rolling in and I was producing more DRK then my farm ever could, without the electricity bill, I kept my mouth shut and enjoyed the extra DRK...

PM me if you like and I'll take you through it...

He's either a FPGA God or it's gonna be the greatest Ponzi in Crypto history  Wink

I have been enjoying dual mode myself, but this new asic is a game changer... Totally!

I've been having real difficulty with the darksend mixing.
Initially it only seemed to mix about 85% of my coins and sat there as 'finished'.
Then, I took out the mixed coins, resent the remaining 15% to myself and tried again - it's been sitting on 66% for about 24 hours now and just says 'darksend is idle'.
I've looked all over the internetz for help, but the only promising results are from darkcointalk which seems to have been taken down - google cache provides nothing useful.
Can anyone help?

guys i love darkcoin more than any other coin by far and Ive never used the darksend feature so two days ago i enabled darksend mixing for 4 rounds and still as of this moment its still idle? is no one using the mixing? its hard for me to believe in two days no one else has tried to anonymize funds. For this to become widely adopted there needs to be something entice users to enable darksend mixing.

IMHO auto-update could be a very bad thing if the system is ever high-jacked - think about it
IF auto-update is ever implemented - I want a way to turn it off because I'll never ever ever ever use it. PERIOD

If my local system gets compromised the attacker will get my wallet and password anyway.
If github/darkcoin.io gets compromised, I'll download infected file from there.
So I do not see how autoupdate possibility for users might increase the risk.

I've been mixing for a few days without issue. Try opening the console and do a "darksend auto" which will try to denominate, look in the debug.log to see what it says.

Total Masternodes: 1140 = 1140 actives + 0 inactives (Last refresh: Sun Dec 07 2014 3:33:09 PM)

This is inaccurate. My node is runing, but is not shown there.

Unless you have completed DS, you will have 0 for a darksend balance. You said you were doing 4 rounds, what amount did you specify to anon and how many coins are currently in the wallet? In coin control, where are you at in rounds for your denominations?

The count is pretty close. I just pulled a masternode count in a separate client and it was 1148...
