On another note how large is the community ? Vlad is latecomer. Tuxnut. nut.01, tmiur12 seem to be true supporters from the start.

But how many silent supporters there are ( large CASH wallets ) , ready to dump on first chance or holders for years as the price is ridiculously low.

I try to think I belong to the second group, and to support with donations, as I hold a little grudge against the original dev. But no complaints on whoever created this coin.

One more question : Does anybody who can read code, knows if Cash was meant to enter only PoS stage someday or is it going to PoW/PoS hybrid and what`s the MAX coins as it is said in ann it could be lower than 47 mil with enough interest ?

thanks

I belong to the hodlers,.... but not that large of a wallet sadly  Cheesy   I mined and sold the majority of them at a way higher price, but since them re-bought them all at different price point, but we will need some more investor since i'm low in btc :p lol  Anyone else here have buy order on cryptsy?

I don't see CASH listed on Bittrex.

Is this possible?  I mean, they list anything - even blatant scam coins.

We should try to get on Bittrex cause it seems most active traders use it most since Mintpal has gone down.

Sadly, I bought a lot of my coins when i got too excited and chased the price to 1,800 Satoshi.

I thought that was cheap but the price plummeted after that so I'm now down quite a lot.

I have been trying really hard to get some BTC but most of the coins I hold are down big so it's hard to shake any BTC loose and I don't own any miners and no spare cash to buy BTC.

That said, I'm hoping to average down so I do have an order for around 25,000 CASH at around 259 I believe but it hasn't filled yet.

At this point I'm down so much that I might as well hang in there, hodl and either go down with the ship or make a ton of BTC if the new dev performs some small miracles or we get the next crypto boom later this summer the way I've been expecting.

Cheers!

How many CashCoins out now, the number hasn't updated on Coinmarketcap for nearly 1 month now so I think we're around 5.2 million and not the listed 4.5 million.

Also, dev, several community members [myself included] have voted and expressed interest in reducing the subsidy and max coin-cap with the next update.

What is your feeling about that
?

Everyone has had plenty of time to cheaply mine and purchase CASH coins for quite some time now and reducing the inflation and dilution would be a good [free] and fair way to raise the present and future value of CASH while raising the value of each and every holder fairly and equally.

It's equivalent to a public company doing a stock BuyBack only it costs us nothing - this is a huge benefit cryptos have yet few coins take advantage of it.

Currently we print roughly 1 million new cash coins per month which is high compared to Bitcoin and numerous other popular, reputable and valuable alt-coins [many of which have employed a similar reduction strategy]. I think significatly dropping the subsidy and the max-cap, while maintaining a PoW/PoS strategy would do a lot, short term and long term, in boosting the value of CASH.

I hope this community suggestion is seriously considered for the next code update.

Does anyone here know anyone in management at Cryptsy?

I think cash is a perfect coin for a 3rd market at Cryptsy.  It would fit right between BTC and LTC.

Cryptsy used XPM last year for a third market but XPM had some inherent issues.  I think CASH is XPM but with all those shortcomings fixed and it has a much better name and a fair launch as well, along with good distribution and less dilution.

It's perfect for the job!

Cash also added PoS which is a nice bonus for any exchange as it gives them a little extra consistent staking revenue.

I really think adding CASH as a third market would be a win-win for Cryptsy, its customers and of course, anyone who decides to buy CASH at these levels.

Regards...

We've got some aggressive buying going on the last 24 hours.  My order didn't fill so I just cancelled it for now.

Good to see some heightened interest.

Speaking of Keiser Report, almost every coin he's had on his show has gone up over 100 fold and Quark did 2,000 fold.

If we get Shrem onboard can he use his connections to get CASH on the keiser report?

That would be a HUGE break for CASH.  And I think CASH is unique enough and it had a fair launch so it's a good coin to be on that show.

As soon as  l know that we have enough support we can  make him an offer to Charlie Shrem for the cashcoin.org domain  name.

We have a fund of 25k pledged   so far and that's from three people , come on the rest of the community were is your support, there has been a lot of chat from you about a community take over , and now its starting to happen , we need you too step up.

Paul  is doing his best,  but he needs our help, if we can get the domain name from  Mr Shrem and have him as an adviser,
we are going to need a DEV fund .

If you are not tech mined and are not able too help the DEV team, then how about donating some CASH to the DEV fund.

I have opened this fund address for donations ,just sent 5k

If we get an API set up for Cashcoin that is similar to the Feathercoin API, I will adapt my coding for Cash for my arcade payment machine which will be released on github so free for anyone to use to bring Cashcoin as a real world payment option for arcade machines or anything else like that.

Here is a link to a recent video testing the prototype.
http://youtu.be/DJdsMX-eeFM?list=UUaexZevHz6A7mN3q_WXPTNQ

Obviously it also follows we also need Android and IOS wallets

Come on guys, 10,000 CASH can be bought right now for less than .03 BTC.

That's a small price to pay to get that domain and maybe bring Charlie Shrem onboard.

I paid 1,800 for a lot of my coins and it was still a good deal to donate 15,000 CASH.

Let's get behind this thing as a community.

Cheers!

It says maximum money supply is INFINITE.

That's gonna scare away every new investor.  People are running away from the infinite fiat scam.

We really have to do something about that.

That helps but they must also cap the max supply.  Make it to mine out say 3-5 years and that's it [for now].

In 3-5 years one can always raise the cap if the coin is still around and breathing.

What's more important right now is for investors to see low inflation and low dilution.

I agree with that, we should do something to reduce the number of new coin that are printed each month.  1 million per month is way too much...

Is that something easy to do?

Hello,

I have started to re-code the software, could someone please post up all the required changes in this order (See below)

1) High Priority Updates (Bugs, and alike)
2) Low Priority
3) Wish list!

Thank you.

1) Significantly reduce inflation and dilution (subsidy and max coin supply)

2) Add a feature which is popular right now.  Not sure how difficult it would be add anon.  I realize anon is mostly a gimmick but people really love it and look for it so it would be good to help market CASH.

3) My wish list is the same as the above 2.

Thank you.
