New versions of miners added to Download page, please update your miner to new version ASAP.

I updated as soon as I received this email.  What is the reason for the sudden update?  It is a rare thing indeed that ALL miners are updated at the same time.  Anything to do with Slush's pool going down (there were plenty of other issues he was battling, so I am just asking)?

Thank you.
LoO
Nope, dbitcoin just refuses to follow the LP spec and is putting a full URL in where a URL fragment belongs.

This change (from fragment to full url) discussed a more than month ago.
Tycho, jgarzik, slush and m0mchil - all agreed what full url better. But Tycho not update spec at deepbit site.
And I see in irc logs: 1,5 month ago you do want add LP support to your miner, because no one (except deepbit) support this extension.
Now all popular miners with LP support full url.

I love it!  Not a single stale share since I upgraded Phoenix.  6000 shares accepted approximately.

I am not sure how many people would use it, but I think they would; would you consider changing the donation drop down to increments of 0.5% or even 0.25%?

Right now I donate as I always have, but you are doing a great job right now Smiley.  I am coin shy to send you a one time donation since I cashed them all out yesterday morning (hindsight is 20/20 on that mistake :$, but I still made great profit anyway Smiley.

Thanks for support!
More drop down donation increments its a bit overkill I think.

Hi Dbitcoin,

I like how you keep a grand total of the number of shares each worker has accumulated. Would it also be possible to get a "trip meter" share counter for each worker?

That is a short term share total that the user can zero any time so that if you want to see how much a worker has contributed in the last hour, 12 hours or whatever then you can see that?

Alternately, an individual worker Hash/sec reading taken over some appropriate average.

Reason being is that when I upgrade the miner s/ware, change to another miner s/ware or change a clock setting or something else I can measure 1 worker against another or against a previous time period to see which is balancing out to be better.

Keep up the good work.

I rewrite stats module now, and add more counters in the next pool update.
Hash speed calculation also will be updated.

Minor pool software update:

1) Different miner colors (online/offline) in profile
2) Hourly/daily share counters for each miner
3) Some internal optimization

Please report about any bugs.

Wow, 115 GHash/s ... and having a great run today. Weekends on BTCMine just seem to go better.

Hi,

I've added support for your pool in my Worker status monitor  Wink

but concerning the online/offline status of the miners, how do you define when a miner is online or not?

I hope not Smiley
Long disconnection - it's bitcoin daemon crash. Now all restored an work as usual.

SSL added, and users may use it for login/profile pages.
Internal site urls/redirects do not use https at the moment, I will fix this soon.

SSL is great when login to the website from work =)
Anyway I also noticed that when the bitcoind went down the email notification wasn't sent till some time later. Only after the bitcoind started and I already redirected my clients to solo. Would it be possible to add a notification via email when the bitcoind goes down? Thanks I am loving the email notifications currently being offered, it comes in handy.

Yeah its down cuz I think it takes some time for the server to compute the hash rates after the bitcoind went down. As seen in the miner top page.

This is not related to notifications. I just stop all pool daemons after crash for at least 15 min (for diagnosing problem).

it doesnt work that string, dunno why, maybe phoenix it's unsupported with this pool.

I use Phoenix with this pool just fine.  Double check your arguments again.  Also, make sure your username is the miner username/password and not your login username/password.
