Registration closed for 1-2 weeks. Voluntary donations will be disabled around 06/08 00:00 UTC and pool will be switched to 2% commission. Unfortunately current hardware and software not able handle too much top miners who pay zero fee and donate nothing. In the next 1-2 weeks I will setup new servers with updated software.

thank you for all I expect this to happen to all pools that allow voluntary donations. Further, it is amazing to me that the largest miners are the greediest and essentially stealing from the pool by not donating anything at all [where normally there would be a fee]. I would simply kick the bastards out of the pool. Don't bother with making them pay at this point. Better to let them have downtime while they are sleeping.

I'd much rather see that than a mandatory fee. Voluntary fee facilitates an atmosphere of mutual respect. Much unlike kicking people without warning for not paying a voluntary fee...........

@dbitcoin
Are you physically NYC based? if so let's talk some business.
There are few wine tastings coming up in Manhattan, would be a great place to chat.
lmk.

The balance is the total bounty or the solved shares? How can I get the payment? As I have set a low Minimum payout.

When your confirmed bounty reach minimal payout, your payment will be processed automatically.

I'm working on a table with the features of most of the mining pools. I have a couple questions about BTCMine: Is there an automatic payout threshold, and can you set it to what you want? Is there an instant payout button? Can you get an e-mail notification if your miner goes idle? Thanks! Edit: The thread for my table is here if you want to post the info there: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=12920.msg178464

Why would you allow such a low minimum payout when you're paying a 0.01 BTC transaction fee every time? It makes no sense.
You're just going to lose the large miners when they realize that they're subsidizing a bunch of pointless tiny payouts with (now) mandatory fees. Is that what you want?

Current minimum payout is 0.1. Why do you think what I'm always pay fee? Btw, most of large miners do not lose anything, they even do not donate anything... (sad, but true).

I wasn't suggesting going back to the voluntary fee. I was suggesting to keep the mandatory fee, but to kick off the large greedy miners that weren't donating anything but earning a lot.

The 2% commision should be okey. As long as it provides a good mining pool, fast blocks, etc. I have decided to stay here .

quick question, i was working on that huge block that just completed 129251 for quite awhile and had about .05 in estimated bounty built up. I then had to stop the miner for awhile, during that time the block finished and my bounty went to zero. Shouldn't I still get something for my partial contribution to that block or do you have to be mining at the time the block is found? sorry for the dumb question, I'm new at this. Thanks
