Second -- Lets be part of the solution
There is a long road ahead for success. I can say the vision feels quite focused and clear and they are working hard to share what is able. We as a community need to make our minds up, there are only two reasons to be involved in POT:

1)  You believe in the long term vision and goal and see it as an investment.
If this is you, join and become part of the solution.  Offer both problems/issues but also offer ideas for solutions.  Engage and find ways we can help the community grow and find ways to individually help.  We can all have civil dialogue - complaining about problems without offering solutions is not fair to anyone and not helping POT of the community.

2)  You are simply a trader that expects a quick buck
Go for it.  But don't complain about coin prices. The focus of POT is not coin price. its about adoption and frankly, solid adoption will always trump the other factors that affect coin price.


The two are not mutually exclusive -  you can be both.  But you need to clearly understand what your dominant view is, and set your mindset accordingly.

Very nicely put good sir! You made many good points but i like these the most! The coin is a work in progress. It is obvious that many of the people complaining have never really done anything with their lives, other wise they would understand that anything worth while takes time. The coin is like a child in it's infancy, you need to nurture and care for it now so that it can grow into a big, strong, and awesome coin! Not just kick it out of the nest and expect it to fly on it's own, not yet! It is still too early.

I just want to say.. Since the coins per block reward was halved, I am happy to see that POTcoin has become more stable.
If POT can maintain stability for the next few months, POT will gain respect and become an attractive currency for serious business.

As of today, I do not see a need for another halving.
Mining and dumping still occurs, but it has been greatly reduced.
One more halving might not be a bad idea, but not yet.

It was stable before, it's no more or less stable than prior to the change. The biggest difference is the average price has dropped. It's floor used to be about 1400 satoshis, right now it seems to be 700-800.

As of today, I do not see a need for another halving.

But it's going to keep halving, just like it was going to do before the change. Both  versions had a halving schedule.
