WTB 1 BTC worth.
PM offers.
As a newbie, no offence, but I'd strongly advise against this without an escrower. Good chance one of you will scam or be scammed. We need to get on coinswap. Volume too low still on exchanges. This..yes. I got taken on DOGE in the first couple of days. Nothing like the feeling of getting scammed by a 12 year old. I understand. Escrow is OK. I offer 1 BTC for 2500 PMC. You get more BTC than if you dump. I get more PMC than if I pump. PM if interested. 0.00025? I would be amazed if anyone took you up on that offer. Why not pump or put in a buy order to show stability, will benefit the value of your 1 BTC FYI, 1/2500 = 0.0004. Not 0.00025

Sure it will, but we need to promote. With a good promotion, pulling in people from outside even the BTC community, it can very well be platinum to Bitcoin gold I'm still thinking about a paper wallet giveaway to build up on the scarcity of this coin. Make some nice plastic cards and give them away... ...hm, that's a good question - who would we give it away to?

I'm still throwing about 30Gh/s at the network. 15 PMC in the last 2 days...no complaints there.

That is brilliant. For those who wants to do the same. Go to your BTC wallet and type in the debug window - dumpprivekey Then go to the PMC wallet and type importprivkey. Your BTC and PMC will have the same Address. The alternative would be to use vanity gen with the standard -X 1 or simply -X

Hi everyone, total newb here. Heard about the PMC lastnight on the Magellan show interview and was advised to join here cause someone might want to send me some love to get me started . Right now I am mining MAX as that was my first attempt at mining. Hope to buy some PMC after I meet up with someone on localbitcoin and figure out how to use the exchanges! PMC sounds like a great idea! Hope to get to interact with the community and help it grow. Thanks in advance! ( I am sure someone will let me know if I am way off base here... ) PMC: 1MW8X96Kbt9ufw2cj46VzS8gPZGmmsMVJJ

BTC will be lost into PMC addresses and PMC can be lost into BTC addresses where the private keys are not known.... What I mean is you can send a donation of 5 PMC accidently to someones BTC address and those coins are simply gone.... in my case this isn't true because I do have both addresses in both wallets.

Just for reference, I ran into this same issue myself the other day, I accidentally copy/pasted my PMC address instead of my BTC address and deposited .6 BTC into it on my Poloniex wallet. I thought I was screwed but thankfully Busoni the owner and fellow posters on bitcointalk came through and rescued my money. Here is a thread on how to recover it if anyone runs into the same issue. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=472262

Could be important tbh. Listening to the interview now

Doesn't this also mean you could add protocol layers on top of BTC for PMC?

To buy some PMC if you hold some MAX, you could sign up on https://poloniex.com/, go to your balances page and look at your MAX address. Deposit some MAX, sell it in the market and buy PMC. It' s easier than you think.

Yes, I assume the Mastercoin Protocal could run on top of PMC just like it runs on top of BTC... Plus the messaging etc... anything that is being done for BTC works with PMC... "PMC: The new crypto without the electric windows" ( My classic car meme )

I don't think Proof of Burn in PMC would be a good suggestion for the already rare PMC. I hope no one would create a counter party protocol of PMC version.
