I don't think Proof of Burn in PMC would be a good suggestion for the already rare PMC. I hope no one would create a counter party protocol of PMC version.
No, I wasn't suggesting a Proof of Burn concept, but you could still add protocols on top of PMC in other ways. Could you merge mine PMC?

That would be great so that people does not have to pick between the BTC and PMC. Is it possible to tri-merge? BTC - NMC - PMC? Edit: I will plege a bounty of 100 PMC to this project.

Slush pool had a merge mining for BTC - NMC but they suddenly stopped without notification or why. BTC guild continue to do the merge mining with the NMC. Can't all pools implement this? I still don't get the pros and cons of merge mining.

I think setting up merged mining is both more technical for pools and for miners. But imagine being able to back up the PMC network with the BTC network power. With the close relationship between BTC and PMC this could be a brilliant idea. The dev reads every page of the thread, so I'm sure he'll be interested in this when he returns. I believe he will be away this weekend. I'll be here though, of course.

What about CaptainFuture and his site http://coinex.pw ? We all should start asking him to include PMC... He can be reached here I believe: https://cryptocointalk.com/user/846-captainfuture/His is a good exchange/and mining pool... He even has a SHA256 switchpool running... Lets send him some messages....

Wait, we have to let the dev do that stuff. We have not heard anything from the dev yet. I don't think it is appropriate to do something about the coin without the dev behind it.

Yesterday I contacted the owner of coin-swap.net to add PMC to his exchange, but he doesn't answer anymore.
Maybe he's busy, he said that would give a look on PMC and after nothing.

It is my 'feeling' that anything the community does that is proactive will be accepted by the DEV... I would not worry too much about asking CaptainFuture to add PMC...

Well if the community consensus is there, then I'm not one to argue, but I won't support an exchange/pool without knowing how its users rate it, and what sort of feedback they get. Show me the positive feedback and I'll be happy to look. I always search for posts about pools to find out what pool users say about them, which to me is golden knowledge.

Nulu, coinex.pw is the greatest way to start accumulating coins from nothing... Point your miner at it and then the coins start accumulating and they are right there to be traded... It is a combined pool-mining/exchange. The backend is very tight... he announced recently they finished upgrades on all the pool servers... now he is working on the web interface... even so it works pretty good... If you have a few hashes to spare just give it a whirl... You can sha256 or scrypt switchpool for a day then take a look and see all the strange coins you have accumulated

I'll give them a look. Big sell walls on Poloniex Hah. Even when the price is stable and moves in neither direction you get panic sellers thinking the coin is stagnating. If it drops someone will always buy it back up anyway. A fool and his money are easily parted.
