Damn! Bitcoin is still going down.
As long as BTC is losing trust, the whole cryptocoin market is losing it as well. And right now I can't see any coin which could replace it, because all the big coins are losing value more or less equaly. The dumpers are everywhere.  Undecided

I feel bad for those folks that are losing money due to the crypto going down. However, when I discovered BTC long ago it was in a happy 2-5 dollar range and was there relatively calmly for months on end... and guess what I did? I played poker, bought phone cards, spent money, converted it back ( via bitpak, when it was operational ) I used it as a currency. It was a currency and as such it was a really neat and wonderful thing....

I am aware that many people got very rich off of BTC and thats great. I wish I had as well but I was too busy treating it like a currency.

I miss those days, actually. There was more trust back then. People loaned each other BTC.

This meteoric rise in value and crazy speculative pricing is actually hurtful overall.. I have always said there is room for another paradigm but what it is I don't know....  The blockchain and decentralization are here to stay... But a mechanism for all this wild speculation has to be invented...

Remember when Litecoin was going to be the arbitrage coin? IF MtGox had LTC and people were using for arbitrage between the exchanges a lot of this madness would not have happened... the price would have been equalized among them all.. Now we are looking toward some sort of 'centralization' via the 'Winkdex'. Probably not a idea... right?

And we have the cryptocurrency zoo ( It is much like particle physics ). I suppose we need the Higgs Boson of cryptocurrency to give them all some mass. Smiley

PMC ( the experiment ) is one of the neatest things I have seen in a long time.... it IS a paradigm shift... It is BTC from a programmers point of view, but it really takes the mining part out of the equation. Also there is no maintainence cost to keep the price up...

BTC creates 3600 new coins a day. @500 USD thats 1.8 million dollars A DAY to maintain the price... PMC creates ZERO coins a day..
So at @0.20 dollars thats ZERO dollars a day....  There is something to be said for this... it is MAJOR....

Premine, the dirty word. How about premined and tottally 100 percent given away? Probably will have to keep repeating this, over and over... or people might not get it... Guess what? Ripple did it first...  but they only gave away like 20 percent....  THATS IT.... PMC is the FIRST to give it all away......

There is no PMC Foundation..... yet.... perhaps it is time to start talking about it.... Worldcoin has one. Looks like Infinite Coin is doing one...
We can do one...

What is a Foundation anyway? It is mostly just Public Relations...  don't need a computer degree for that....

Now each and everyone of you should try and get ONE service to accept PMC.... I really want to get Sean's Outpost to accept them... lets get that done...

Do you know a musician? Artist? Lets get them to accept PMC.... PMC can be the 'Professional Music Coin' it can be anything.... let the ideas flow...

Next version of the website should be up sometime tomorrow. It should be polished enough to use as a main page for PMC.
For anyone who missed it here is the alpha version I built yesterday.

In the MINT coin forum people are saying that they will replace BTC.

In my opinion, PMC is already the replacement of BTC people have not found that yet.

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

I agree. The bitcoin foundation should support PMC. They should fix all the flaws of the PMC. It is like fixing all the problems of the future BTC.

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

Exactly my point
Bitcoin, by not fixing or noticing PMC, will result in them facing a similar scenario later on

I'll be very interested to see what happens to txfees when a big exchange lists us.

On one hand, it should have happened a long time ago.

On the other, exchange owners can't mine themselves a hefty amount before pumping up the price by listing it (*cough*Cryptsy*cough*), so I don't know about that.

We need bigger exchanges.
Why not asking Bter? Here's the ANN-Thread.

"New coin adoption policy

Contact us if you want one coin be listed on Bter.com. Make sure it has the following features:

Yes. We're in :-)

Now to something different.
There's a new site showing Market-Cap and much more. Looks very good to me.

Yes. PMC is listed.

yet another Idea.
Why isn't there a link to the Radio-Show about PremineCoin on the frontpage?
perhaps in a special section called "Press, Radio, TV" ;-)

I've set up a 24/7 full node. It'll run for a long time, so you can use it. Dev, feel free to add it to the default conf file:

Cryptsy would have to buy in, or kindly ask publicly for some PMC.  Wink
