Ethereum Classic is, in my view, a total and absolute scam by any traditional financial definition of the word “scam.”

Have you even read or just looked at the title? The author is selling Bitcoin and buying ETH because...

Quote
After its recent reward halving, miners get only 50% of what they were previously rewarded per block, yet the price per bitcoin has not skyrocketed in response - so now miners are subsidizing losses, in many cases. Those economics cannot last forever. As more miners drop off the network, network security decreases, making Bitcoin fundamentally less secure as a record of all prior transactions on the network.

Someone who hasn't heard of difficulty adjustments is a crypto expert... you can have him, good luck.

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

Great counter argument. Now if you could make it at least remotely relevant and translate to English we might have a chance at a discussion.

will   DApp  choose  ETC  or  ETH chain?    this is key problem from now on

NO DAPPS ON ETC & ETC WILL HAVE TO FORK SOON

Are you stupid? Your fuckin' dapps are pretty damn easy to copy. But i don't think people will even bother a lot.
@VladZamfir Ethc will need to hardfork to isolate itself from Eth. Its Dapps will be hampered by replay attacks.

Zamfir is talking shit all day same as youself or this Sirer-guy. None of these guys is credible. They make shit up as they go along.

yes sir and you have got so much respect havent you,lol  i heard when you were younger you were known as the boy genius....not,lol

i suppose you think Digix and Maker are just as bad ,lol https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/4udq75/joint_statement_from_digix_and_maker_regarding/
Joint Statement from Digix and Maker Regarding Hard Fork

Wherever it makes sense to do so, the "true" version of any deployed contract related to the Digix or Maker contract systems should be interpreted as residing on Ethereum (ETH) "pro-fork" chain. Any system updates will proceed as planned on ETH.

We are not responsible for any ETC stolen via replay attacks against our systems. Users are encouraged to be cautious of replays on ETC and to use a splitting contract such as the one published by Kraken to preserve any ETC they care about.

did you even read this before spouting garbage from your mouth?

Garbage article from a garbage "news" site, Seaman is only making assumptions of what Vitalik and the team think, Vitalik hasn't even made a statement of support one way or another yet other than another non-sensical tweet.

Can someone give the ELI5 on why the forkers seem to be butthurt about ETC? Isn't that the whole idea of the fork? Two chains and all.

Because ETC is not legit.

Now he is claiming that Ethereum classic has his support the same as Ethereum fork. What does this mean to me as an ordinary supporter? He is playing it safe. If one chain fails, he can always switch to the other chain. I believe the other developers will do the same to save their own skin. I pity and fear for Vitalik because it will be him who will be thrown out in the cold when push comes to shove.

Oh why did he have to do the hard fork? I think he was pressured by those Ethereum insiders who put millions in the DAO.

Whether you want to follow ETH or ETC, here is a guide for splitting easily and secure:

https://steemit.com/trading/@volka/easy-money-for-ethereum-holders-moneybag
lol thanks m8, i had to copy n paste this...
Easy Money for Ethereum holders
59 minutes ago by volka in trading

Hey guys,

Almost everybody in Crypto knows there was a hardfork in Ethereum-land just a week ago.

Today something unbelievable happened. Poloniex added trading for the loosing chain, which is still alive.

Now the great thing for all holders of Ether at the point of the hardfork.
You have got 1 ETC (Ethereum classic) per Ether!!!

The main question burning a hole in every holders pocket: How can I simply and fast sell these ETC-coins without being in risk of loosing my regular Ether-tokens?

The simple and secure solution is sending the Ether to Poloniex. After depositing them you have automatically both coins separeted. Now you can sell your ETC coins.

For your regular ethers (ETH). You should send them back to a newly created address in Mist/Ethereum wallet.
That´s it. Secure and simple. I converted all my ether and send them back. No replay attack, nothing.

One last tip, hurry up. The majority of the holders haven´t figured it out yet or are to scared. But when they realise how easy it is, the price will decrease significant.

Congratulations for the free money and have a nice day

Greetinx Volka

as i understand mr.pumperitis is pro fork becouse he beliefes thats the only way to stop that thief.  proforkers think they are on the side of law and justice
this advice mrpumperitis posts: do i understand right. one fund a bug in polos eth/etc handling and advices how to use it to double there holdings ? misusing a hole. sounds a bit familiar to me didnt the Attacker just do that ?

wow claping hand mrpumperitis what a moral what a moral

The fork was a DECENTRALIZED decision as well as a consensus on a new block.

NOTHING was decentralized !!!!!!
consenus decision yes

consensus of a few !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
who see themselfs as the owner of ether

Thinking about polos decision to list etc...at first glance it seems great for etc, as it gives it immediate legitimacy. But I actually think it may be bad for etc, as all that free supply of etc will probably just be dumped ..driving down the price. (tendency is always to sell the free shit). There is a lot of prefork eth out there. Then where is incentive for miners to continue chain?

Yer,.. well Chris Ellis, i didn't know he was involved in ethereum.  He is a good bloke, i seen him on the Keiser Report and in the Feathercoin Videos too.  He does what is right and stands by it.  He done loads of work in Africa too.  Didn't he do work on StartCoin/StartJoin?

If only i had a classic wallet, i would switch my hashpower in an instant.

EDIT: Chris Ellis.... Quote:  "I hope to make the world better than I found it".
