A new white paper has been published detailing a potentially transformative protocol for initial coin offerings (ICOs).

The protocol, which would seek to produce an "equilibrium" between capped and uncapped token sales, represents a collaborative effort between ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin and developer Jason Teutsch, the creator of smart contract scalability project TrueBit.

In the white paper, released today, the authors detail a system by which an ICO could respond to the actions of buyers. Specifically, buyers would submit a valuation table via a smart contract that would enable them to make purchases dynamically relative to a real-time valuation.

More simply, the new ICO protocol would give buyers the option to withdraw investment bids on tokens, while evaluating the buyer's stake relative to the entire ICO and shifting bids accordingly.

Hello,

is there a way to find enode-links for reserved.txt-files for parity? I found ethernodes.org but they do not provide the enode links.

Also I have a problem with using parity. When running the process only eats as much RAM as I ask it to use. Problem is that the ram usage in total is maxing out over the course of an hour. It stays at that level then and slows down parity somehow. When I close parity then this ram hog is gone also. Even though the process only took 1 or 2 GB RAM.

How can this be explained and fixed?

That is one of many innovation in ethereum.

Sorry for noob Q, but anyway...
My question is about Metropolis HF, I have read in different resources e.g. "https://www.coindesk.com/ethereums-big-switch-the-new-roadmap-to-proof-of-stake/" that with this update Ethereum will be POS, and as I know POS need much less HR than POW, if this is true, current miners will have 3 options:
1- switch to another currency
2- create a another copy and stay there (like BCC)
3- do nothing and waste hardware resource
more willing that the answer be "switch to another currency" if so, how this will affect market? or I am totally wrong?

Who's going to have bigger gains in the next 6 months?  ETH or BTC?

I think we're going to see $1000 ethers in the next 3-6 months.

With Metropolis, Caspar and Sharding coming, people are start buying ETH like crazy IMO.

Also the development of the ENS will be revolutionary.  I think a lot of people are sleeping on this that.
