The Ethereum network will be undergoing a planned hard fork at block number 4.37mil (4,370,000), which will likely occur between 12:00 UTC and 13:00 UTC on Monday, October 16, 2017. The Ropsten test network underwent a hard fork on September 19th (UTC) at block number 1.7mil (1,700,000). A countdown timer can be seen at https://fork.codetract.io/. That's great for ethereum community to switch proof of stake, i am waiting will it be effect to ethereum's price.

As the fork is fast approaching, we see a steady rise of ethereum price.  Hopefully after the fork, we will hit a new atm.  I just hope the lessen difficulty for the miners would be significant as this is still the most profitable coin to mine right now

Today we have a little dip bitcoin price and ETH has dropped even more 

I am afraid it will be as usuall - if everyone expect a rise then price is falling..

Here hard fork is planned to bring some new upgraded features that's why everyone is expecting some appreciation and positive reaction to post HF era. Price will be on rise just wait and hold it is tough but worth to wait to get maximum out of this opportunity.
