Nothing positive or good news seems to coming out of the Ethereum developer team at all. When will theyy realise it is better for them to take things slowly and release the testnet after ALL bugs have been ironed out instead of them playing roulette with investors?
How will they learn about bugs if they don't run the testnet?

Without testing, it will be impossible to say whether the codes has any bugs or not. This Zinken testnet which is coming on 12 OCT could help us figure out whether ETH 2.0 will be delayed or be on time.

This morning I saw a tweet from Vitalik about the ethereum network's upgrade to 25000-100,000 TPS. https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1312905882330521600How can they do that when the ethereum network is on? Now that they're stagnant, they'll probably rewrite the entire code. They will then migrate each of the other projects' DAPPs to the new platform. I wonder if they can ditch the auction mechanism after removing POW completely?

Projects have their own choice and they will do everything to continue the project. I don't have any opinion on DAPP on ethereum because Vitalik's point is to build a foundation for the community. He did not foresee so many developers building on Ethereum and as we have seen they are planning to improve Ethereum.

Just a couple of weeks back, I saw crypto kitties developer created a new game called NBA topshot but this time, they didn't use ethereum they used some other blockchain.

In this particular case, though, they are building it on Flow, which is their own blockchain. So it is not really a sign of "independent" developers switching to a competing system.

Ah, my bad I didn't know FLOW was from dapper labs too but you gotta agree because of the scalability issue and high transaction cost many developers are considering either moving to a different chain or building their own.

It is understandable why you would say that, there are lots of people that never believed in ETH from the beginning saying the same thing. Many of us of-course disagree Of course, projects cannot be scrapped by ethereum. Projects have their own choice and they will do everything to continue the project. Indeed we could keep hope for good surely it would get released in our life time so that I also agreed with you. ETH have big dev team behind it and all are doing their best to make this possible but hard date would be problem to achieve their goals during this.

And how many approx time they need for mainnet after testnet? I wish to see ETH 2.0 till end this year at last. This fees on Uniswap became crazy nowdays.

I don't think anyone able to say exact dates now, during testnet a lot of bugs can be found, depending on that developer team will understand how many time they will need to fix them. I hope to see mainnet as soon as possible, but it should be 100% secure, otherwise there will be another fork/hack.

Ethereum is dead. Devs are leaving to other projects. It was a scam right from the start.
What is the the source of your assumptions? Which devs left the eth for other project? I think Garvin Wood is one, the person developed smart contracts and solidity language.

Good news!!Second Ethereum 2.0 launch rehearsal puts it on track for 2020 release https://cointelegraph.com/news/second-ethereum-2-0-launch-rehearsal-puts-it-on-track-for-2020-release"Ethereum 2.0 developers were pleased with the launch, noting that “the Discord chat is silent” — a positive sign when compared to the earlier streams of bug reports and issues, they said. This was the confirmation that the developers needed to go ahead with the mainnet launch. Vitalik Buterin, who was also present during the call, added that the team may still do a few more rehearsals, but they’d likely be reserved to developers. Danny Ryan, the Ethereum Foundation’s lead coordinator for Ethereum 2.0, was optimistic that a 2020 launch may be forthcoming: “That’s my impression [that a 2020 launch is on target]. This is an ongoing dialogue with client teams, and we need to take a second to look at this testnet. But it is my understanding that this will trigger the next series of things. There’s always blockers that might show up, [so] we need to do this responsibly.”"

In the face of Ethereum’s recent rocketing transaction fees, its founder and chief scientist, Vitalik Buterin, called on users of the second-largest blockchain to move over to scaling solutions that are “already here for many classes of applications.” https://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-vitalik-buterin-layer-2-scaling
