Well, for me I prefer to hold Bitcoin rather than Altcoin, because I am comfortable in using bitcoin and even though its value is still 1BTC and only Dollars value are rising still I can earn from it. It all depends on person, I know there is a person who will pick altcoin because they used to it and they believe it is more profitable.
