Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc?

I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

I do not approve this kind of strategy, there are still valuable coins such as ethereum so you should not sell your coins and turn it to bitcoins because the market prices are dumping.

It all depends on what state the market is. If the market too volatile than keeping your money in the altcoins is a  big risk cause at that time it could even reach the value of zero however when it comes to these conditions the strategy of investing in BTC is better since it is more stable.

If i were you why you don't wait for the right time to buy bitcoin? Wait until you can have profits to your altcoins not sell your altcoins for a very small price just to buy bitcoin. After you sell your altcoins with profits that is the time to buy bitcoin not sell for a small price.

Every strategy is right or wrong depending on the time and the investor is the one who decides what to invest in the project to receive the highest profit. Currently I will not sell altcoin to buy bitcoin because it is very bad, if the bitcoin increase then the altcoin will increase accordingly so you do not need to sell altcoin to buy into bitcoin now.

I really have more faith in btc than in the alts, but I also take into account that the market is still young and there still is some place for altcoins which can potentially give me bigger multiplier than the bitcoin's growth. For that reason I invest part of my funds into alts, but eventually if bitcoin keeps dominating I may convert them into btc on the peak.

Bitcoin is one of the greatest sources of investments recently, so I usually do this way with coins from the project I dont fully trust in, if I believe, that the project will rise soon, then I dont sell its tokens.

It all depends on the research of people who will sell alt and buy Bitcoin. And if it is a profitable thing, why not ?! all there must be a good reason, because our goal here is all because of money. if you sell Alt and buy Btc, sure will get a lot of money, then it is good to do.

Why not, if the market promises more profit for btc. A good choice is when you choose something to make a profit. btc or other coins have the same opportunity and not just focus on btc. Your analysis is the best, do not follow the trend or you will get stuck

At the point of time where you consider selling the altcoins and buying the bitcoin, if that point is when there is a dip in the entire market than keeping your bets on any coin could result in an indefinite loss of investment, at that time the best more is to extract your money from the market and wait because market situation will change in near future and the situation will change.

well, every body have their own strategy. there are a lot of people that sell alts buy btc, but there are a lot of people too that sell btc buy alts. so i think it depends on the person own strategy.

You're right about personal abilities, if you want to listen somebody else you will not getting a profit from the transaction or buying or selling something. Only own knowledge except in this area.

That is the branches of bitcoins the alternative coins so that people will buy bitcoin and other cryptos to balance each value of it. Buying some alts can also lead to success because some of them right now have a big potential in future.

i do not agree to sell all my altcoin then invest everything in bitcoin.
I prefer to share it. 50% for bitcoin investment and 50% for altcoin investment.

Once BTC price is on the rise, altcoin prices will move up too. So I believe if you really believe in some projects, it might be worth keeping some of them, and hold the other part in BTC for instance

The next trend is still unclear, so I think that if possible, choose a short-term trading day to limit the hold on the trading floors when the coin drops strongly. There is always a clear stoploss point to cut losses and determine the profit target during the day.

Last time I approved the sell altcoins and buy bitcoins strategy. But now I do the opposite. I am slowly selling my bitcoins and buy promising altcoins that may give me more profit in the future. Up to now, there are no signs of market price recovering especially in bitcoin from its current dip and that is the reason why I started to lose hope in bitcoin and regain faith in altcoins.

I honestly think many of these Alt coins are pump n dump schemes. You can make some good profits on Alt coins, if you time your exit before they collapse. The most stable and reliable Crypto currency, since 2009 is Bitcoin and that is not even disputable. <remember we are not talking about volatility, but rather the long-term survival of the coin>

So my strategy is to play with Alt coins and to move my profits <if there are any> to Bitcoin in the end. Bitcoin is my store of value, like Gold is for many other investors.  

 we have our own Goals, Strategy to follow in terms of investment, we may have similar data, information,market research, statistics, market structure, trends, and a lot more..But we have different approach on how to deal with our own individual investment. I don't agree with your idea of Selling all ALT coins then buy Bitcoin, it is not practical, not wise, and not recommended.

I prefer holding my alts even though the market prices today is currently dumping because it will just go back to its normal price after a few months since the market is volatile.

I love how the experts are giving advice to everyone in all areas of life that is why even here in crypto currency world I like to here the word from the experts. And the very common I heard from them is buy bitcoin or invest in bitcoin than in altcoins because giving your fund in altcoins is very risky compare in bitcoin specially during the dip time.
