In my opinion altcoins are already too dependent in BTC and ETH. We could observe that when BTC and ETH price move down almost all of the alts will massively fall. This could imply that alts are dependent on BTC and ETH. Since most of the alt coins are traded with BTC or ETH

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I also have similar opinion about it. Mostly, the BTC and ETH are used as the payment methods for purchasing the altcoins. They are preferable because they are the most trusted coins. This condition may lead the dependence of the other altcoins on these two crypto. for, when they are dropped, the other altcoins will drop easily.

What is your opinion please share.
From people, investors, first of all depends. And the fact that now many coins are sold for ether or bitcoin, this creates these dependencies on two top coins. As for me, the wrong approach that does not show the full potential of the coin and artificially raises in the top of these leaders and prevents anyone from catching up with them at a price. Hope it will soon be destroyed.

Yes they are all related because most of peoples sold btc and eth to invest in alts, but it doesn't mean that one up then the other will up. It depends on how much they in market caps.

Yes you are right the altcoins are very heavily influenced by the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum as this is there trading pair when it comes to the exchanges. Individual coins and particular circumstances will make a difference based on a project ilestone being reached or getting listed on a big exchange but overall the main factor will be BTC and ETH

The price of ETH depends on the price of BTC which means that the prices of coins depend on the price of BTC whether directly or indirectly due to trading pairs. That is why you see that when the price of BTC falls, then the prices of all the other Altcoins in the market start falling too.

Altcoin prices use to depend on bitcoin alone but that is changing now since ethereum is holding a lots of influence with cryptocurrency users all around the world. Bitcoin and ethereum prices determine the price of many coin.

Since the altcoin can't be independent and that means if will be so difficult to release its real potential. The major crypto trend has been giving a gradual impact to the majority of medium or low tier altcoin.
If they will always depend with the major crypto and it should become another big disaster soon.

Bitcoin as a father, if he says that it is necessary down then all go down ), but strong altcoins with good news are less influenced by bitcoin and can grow while all go down .

I see it for Altcoin is dependent on both Bitcoin and Ethereum. because for Altcoin itself develops increasingly after the development that occurred in Ethereum and Bitcoin. so this is a benchmark to suggest that the development of Altcoin is a development that depends on both Ethereum and Bitcoin.

BTC holds the biggest part of the market cap so it's obvious that it's price affects alts. But you're right, some alts are growing even now.

altcoin/token prices mostly depend on bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin increases, it will make the whole market become green. And if dump bitcoin, altcoins will also be dumped along with it.

You are right to half. The price of almost all altcoins depends on the price of bitcoin. In the future there will be a delineation on coins, but now everyone is looking at bitcoine quotations and after that they buy and sell altcoins.

certainly, because bitcoin becomes the core of altcoin so that the price of altcoin is based on bitcoin.... the ETH price movement also follows the growth of bitcoin prices.

Not only that, but also ETH depend on the price of BTC. You can see this when btc goes down, eth is normally down twice as much or thereabout.

As the market matures, this won't always be the case. This will gradually change once people get more familiar with Bitcoin. Currently it's the main vehicle for on boarding new crypto investors. As they become more comfortable with crypto in general, they'll invest elsewhere minimizing the effect.
The main catalyst for removing Bitcoin dependance is when exchanges that support many alt coins have direct fiat pairs. Right now, due to the challenges in getting money service business licenses in multiple jurisdictions, most either use BTC/ETH or USDT so BTC is typically always involved somewhere in the process.

most of the altcoin programme on the price of the bitcoin. It is certainly reasonable for bitcoin is King of crypto and certainly many altcoins who adopt a system like bitcoin. This makes the market became a bit controlled because of course all rise and decline based on what exists in the bitcoin.

Anything paired with BTC heavily relies on BTC, most shitcoins though tend to swing along side ETH. Especially ERC20 shitcoins
