Yes maybe some ICOs are not scam, but we don't know which one is scam, sometime eventhough the project is looking good, but it can be a scam project, anyway before you join ICO, you must think many times before invest your money into ICO.

Theoretically, there is no direct dependency of altcoins and bitcoin. But every time bitcoin goes sharply up or down we see a strong movement in prices of alts. Alternative coins are very strongly tied to bitcoin. I watch for the market as a whole  |

Bitcoin is the base currency that altcoin is exchanged for mostly. Second on the list is ETH. |

Bitcoin is the base for each and every activity happening with the cryptocurrency. It is clear that each and every cryptocurrency has got dependence over bitcoin as well ethereum. Going through the growth chart it is clear that altcoins grow when ethereum or bitcoin grow. With the recent price fall each and every altcoin has fallen low. If there is no dependence those altcoins would have stayed high.

In my opinion, the price of altcoins depends on bitcoin, as bitcoin still controls the market. When the price of bitcoin increases altcoins price also increases, when the bitcoin decreases altcoins also decreases.

Yes it is true that all the altcoins price depends on Bitcoin price, because Bitcoin is a leading coin of this market and whenever bitcoin price getting drop down then all the market get red and price of all the coins price also drop down, but this whole market is react according to good and bad news. Bitcoin and Ethereum price also depends on good and bad news's of this market.

Yes, of course, that's true, all alto coins are directly dependent on the coins of the giants. When bitcoin and ethereum grow, then almost all altcoins are growing. |

I watch for the market as a whole The theory is irrelevant what it is important is the reality and whenever we see the price of bitcoin crashing or going down significantly we see all the alts following it and this is true even for the best alts like ethereum, but at the same time it is not that surprising since many coins are based on bitcoin and its technology it makes sense they move the same way bitcoin does. |

This is absolutely correct because the current altcoins use BTC and ETH technology to create their own Token. Therefore the BTC and ETH rates will determine the entire exchange rate of the market. So if you do not have much trade experience then invest in BTC and ETH instead of altcoins.

I believe that the prices of altcoins depend on the price of bitcoin. In my opinion, bitcoin, as an indicator in the market of crypto currency. Undoubtedly there is an exception and some coins do not follow this trend, but most coins are dependent on the position of bitcoin. Personally, my opinion.

Yes bitcoin especially drive any other altcoin, They are more widely accepted. I wouldn't know where you got it .

YES.Altcoin price depends on BTC and ETH Mostly cause there is no Altcoin/fiat pair normally.Almost all pair are altcoin/btc or altcoin/ETH .So if eth or btc price fractuate the price of altcoin also changed.Thats the main mechanism behinf it.Thets why alts price depends on btc and eth.Maybe in near feture when we have all alts /fiat pair it depends on fiat.

Erc20 tokens depend on Ethereum and coins depend in general on Bitcoin mostly. Then again ETH in part depend on BTC also. ERC20 token is depend on the ethereum and ethereum depends on the bitcoin. In fact anything in the crypto is following the bitcoin right now. How the market is become a very volatile when there is a bullish or bearish. It looks like people are gonna be confidence with it. |

In the market has a 3 huge cryptocurrency : BTC, ETH, USDT. The USDT is always stable and the price is not depend to it. But, the BTC and ETH market's biggest cryptocurrenies and their price drops are affect in other crypto currencies. |
