Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH??

Since most of the alt coins are traded with BTC or ETH. SO I think altcoins prie are dependent on the price of this two.
What is your opinion please share.

I think the price of cryptocurrency is affected by the bitcoin price, so if the bitcoin price drops usually other coin prices will follow down and also if the bitcoin price rises then the price of the other coin also rises. maybe like that.

I noticed  everytime that the price of bitcoin falling down the price of altcoin will going down too ,so it's obvious when bitcoin down altcoin are also down but when bitcoin increase altcoin is also increase but not like bitcoin because altcoin price is more decrease than bitcoin.

I do not think the price of altocin has any effect on bitcoin price movements, when bitcoin prices rise, altcoin prices will also increase very much, whereas ethereum will not affect the altcoin price movement, which is very influential when the movement of bitcoin.

Altcoin price depends from BTC price. ETH price also depends from BTC price.
The formula is simple:
Bitcoin falls - altcoins fall
Bitcoin pumps - altcoins fall
Bitcoin stable - altcoins grow

Agreed. But also:

Market falls - new alt on the market will probably has a low price as it "base" support level in the future. Lower than ICO.
Market grows - new alt will have this main support level on higher than ICO price.

BTC will always be the indicator for alt prices. You can't have BTC dropping and alts rising.

I also think that Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH. Whenever, BTC or ETH price goes down many altcoins price goes down and when BTC or ETH price goes up, that altcoins goes also up! I'm noticing this price circulation from 2-3 months. So this is totally true that BTC is king of Crypto and ETH is queen of Crypto.

ETH is part of altcoin so definitely they depended bitcoin's market, if bitcoin was so volatile then it can affect ETH and altcoin also because we all know bitcoin is the one we mold here to promote as a single currency, other coin is just supported.
