Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH??

I think they are preferred because they are the most trusted coins. This condition can cause other altcoin dependence on these two cryptoes. because, when dropped, the other altcoin will drop easily because most, BTC or ETH is used as a method of payment to buy altcoin

Of couse yes . You can see that price of each altcoin on exchange often depend on pair ALT/BTC or ALT/ETH so it's the reason why price of altcoin often dump or pump everywhen price of BTC or ETH dump or pump . But there are so many altcoins price often pump while price of BTC or ETH is dumping .

I think altcoin depends only on BTC prices, and not on ETH.  Bitcoin is the first invention in this field. It has popularity more than any or all altcoins.

Yeah, pretty much everything that's going on with BTC affects alts.
It's all logical, BTC is is the first crypto coin and it holds most of the market so at this moment BTC="crypto market" and if something wrong is happening to it then all of the alts are affected.

I know that Altoin always depends on bitcoin and not depend on Ethereum so from that I am sure if Altcoin price always depends on Bitcoin because I know these two coins do need each other then hopefully bitcoin soon rise again and can be profitable

Since all the alternative cryptocurrencies or most of them are basing their coins and tokens on ethereum blockchain, we can logically assume that they are depending on it, but ETH is depending on BTC, lol.

As I started here last year I noticed that all the currency is based only in one currency and that is bitcoin's value in the market that's why it is hard to say that they are not basing they're price in one currency that we know that if his price on the market is not in a good value they are not making their more or any increase of their price even they are the one who can decide their value in the market.

Personally for me, as long as crypto is concerned, I believe the price of altcoin depends on bitcoin. Altcoins depend on Bitcoin but I do not see that tokens depend on Ethereum. ETH, like the other cryptocurrencies, is always following BTC. That is why it is very important to have Bitcoin in your portfolio.

Price of alts always depends from price of BTC, not ETH. ETH also depend, but not too much as other coins. Because when BTC is melting down, there are panic and everyone trying to "save" their money and take money away from crypto. And when BTC raising money flow from alts to BTC, that's why BTC dominance grow, as now for example.

In my opinion, I really don't think that altcoin is relying on Bitcoin or Etherium it also depends on what country you are living. For example, I have a local wallet which only supports two cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin and Etherium probably my other coin which I have got from my bounty campaign in exchanger will be converted on Bitcoin or Etherium which will I use for paying my utility bills. I do hope that in the future other coins will be supported by our local/international cryptocurrency wallet.

This is obvious that the price of the altcoin depends on btc and eth. All of the values of the altcoin are converted to bitcoin and eth so , when the btc value and eth are reduced , it means the price of altcoin is also falling. The fact that you observe the brtc price and eth is a necessary thing to capture the market situation

yes because bitcoin is the king of coins and whole market trend always set  with the rate of bitcoin. ethereum is also very important coin after bitcoin. both are the main pillars of the crypto currency market and people believe in both coins to much.
