I think the current price of Altcoin is still dependent on Bitcoin, but I believe that they will have their own development in the future, and now they are gradually no longer completely dependent on Bitcoin, which means that the industry will have more development in the future. space.

Eth and all the other altcoins still depends on the main coins which is bitcoin. In the future I know ETH is very close on achieving its status just like bitcoin. But for now, it will still need to depend on bitcoin because I think all of you guys know the issues it is facing.

Altcoin costs for the most part rely upon bitcoin. Regardless of whether the exchanging sets of the coin is in ethereum, the cost of ethereum relies upon the cost of bitcoin which implies that the costs of coins relies upon the cost of bitcoin whether straightforwardly or in a roundabout way because of exchanging sets. That is the reason you see that when the cost of bitcoin falls, at that point the costs of the various altcoins in the market begin falling as well.

BTC and ETH are the main and major currency of this market and all the altcoins are always depended on and follow these two main cryptocurrencies.

Since most of the alt coins are traded with BTC or ETH. SO I think altcoins prie are dependent on the price of this two.
What is your opinion please share.
I think so too, but some altcoins get pumped quicker depending on the project and the team with investments. I really liked MTC token, it went flying high straight after ICO and it is capable of even more, just give it some time. But overall every altcoins is dependent on ETH and BTC market price

I'm afraid the crypto market is in a vicious circle. The price of the ether depends on the price of bitcoin, and the price of all the alcoins depends on the price of the air. Thus, it can be concluded that everything depends on bitcoin.

I think the entire market depends on btc and eth since these two are the greatest coins ever. It is normal to be like this but when btc starts to grow all the altcoins will grow too

far from a fact. Many altcoins depend on the price, but a small part of them does not depend on the bitcoin price. And you can find such coins.

The whole crypto market is still small in volume and BTC is the market leader.
Altoins highly correlatesto BTC price and ususally move together with it.
In the future I can see that this correlation will not be so strong and "coins will start living their own, independent life".

Sure most of the alt coins depend on Bitcoin, even ETH does.

But there are other factors for sure that affects their price and market cap. Important thing is market product.

If product works sooner or later with or without Bitcoin price will go up.

 Time is the key.

 No rush in altcoin business.

Yes altcoins are depending on bitcoins because it was the first cryptocurrency that has been created and you will always notice that every time the price of btc pumps up every cryptocurrency is also rising.
I think so, but in my opinion it also depends on market demand or what you mentioned earlier. Bitcoin is the main coin and there are many people who know and become a benchmark for other coins, if Ethereum I think not because sometimes the price of Bitcoin rises Ethereum also does not rise.

Yes it is very complicated. Sometimes eth start to rise again with alts. Sometimes bitcoin start to rise only.

General market situation is very important that point. Bull or Bear..

Ive seen plenty of coin which despite having a finished working product their price are still falling so hard anyway.
if the product they released is userful maybe it could make the coin price go up but if their product are useless it wont give any affect anyway.

All coins depend on the price of bitcoin, even Ethereum, that's unambiguous! You can trace this pattern by looking at the coin charts. But in early 2018 it happened that Ethereum showed itself much stronger than the market and I am sure that it will happen again!

That's a pretty good question, by the way.
I personally did not think about it, it is difficult to track the correlation of altcoins and Ethereum, as well as Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Of course , the price depends on the 2 giants, whether it is rising or falling coin feels it strongly and usually just adjusted.

I think that in the near future there will be active price drops, which will change the leadership in the crypto currency market. In my opinion this is exactly the case for Bitcoin and the etherium.

I think price depends on BTC only. ETH price is secondary. If you will find correlation table between main cryptocurrencies then you can see this coefficient. And for ETH/BTC it's so close to 1. It's mean that ETH price fully correlated with BTC price. And it's bad because actually we have one base currency only

I hope that even a big reduction in prices will not happen. at least every user of crypto currency is more expensive to use the current chance to buy cheap coins.

Their prices depend solely on the price of bitcoin, the price of ethereum too also depends on the price of bitcoin. If there is going to be a bull market then it is going to be from the price of bitcoin going up. This is why we all need to support bitcoin if we want the price of the altcoins that we are supporting to start doing better numbers.

The price of altcoin depends temporarily on bitcoin, all coins are evaluated based on bitcoins. If the price of bitcoins changes, it affects almost all other altcoys, especially on ETH.
