Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH??

Of course the price of altcoins depend on btc and eth. Coins running on the ethereum platform feel the price of Ethereum very much. But sometimes the price of bitcoin can pump and the price of altcoins dump.

all of erc 20 altcoins is made up in etheruem and when the price of bitcoin gets down the affect in altcoin is strong because eth price is depend on bitcoin price, when the price of bitcoin gets down its get domino effect the price of almost all of altcoins get down too.

Yes, I agree, but I wonder when this tendency that altcoins depend on ETH and ETH depends on BTC will end. It's strange that the coins don't live their own lives, and all still depend on BTC.

Even major crypto can't' even leave from the bitcoin. It's not so strange consider they raised bitcoion and ethereum to get the funds. Basically they will create crypto and then it mush be paired with bitcoin.
Crypto can't be independent until it has its own value from the product.

Yes, prices of altcoins gravitate more to that of bitcoin rather than any other altcoin. Sometimes they are falling together but other times Bitcoin rises but not other coins.

Yes you are right the price of all altcoins depends on how bitcoin most especially is doing in the crypto market. Where bitcoin is green all other alts follows and if bitcoin is red on the other hand they also follows.  Bitcoin as been there before all other altcoins major growth in bitcoin affects all others positively including ethereum

I dont think that there are some altcoins considered connected to bitcoin or even in ethereum because those coin are different to each other and maybe they want the higher trade value so that they trade it to bitcoin or ethereum.

I think no, because they have the volume and price so i think it is not depend on bitcoin and ethereum price. Because when bitcoin dumps some coin gets pump, and when bitcoin pumps some altcoin dumps. So i think the price, dump and pump is not depend on bitcoin and ethereum.

it hink taht soem new altcoins and young projects depend on bitcoin or ethereum price but not older ones not them of course

People's opinion might differ here based on their understanding and knowledge of the crypto market but for me, my opinion would be yes, this is based on what i have seen or experience, most times when Btc is rising, most Altcoin tend to increase in value, but the moment the value of BTC drops ,the price of most Altcoin  becomes very low(dip). In essence Altcoin depends on Btc

It is very obvious, you can easily check the marketcap and see how dominant btc is . Bitcoin on its own is the father of all coins , and covers alone about 50% of the entire market cap. That is no joke , bottomline  is btc is the one that affects prices and not eth
