The increase or decrease in the price of all coins in crypto depends on BTC. The value of BTC is very sensitive to whatever is happening on crypto when it will give effect to crypto, therefore the crypto value is very volatile. But the price of altcoin also has a basic influence on themselves, the better the quality of the coin, the stronger the ability of the coin to be able to have a good price.
i think thatsome old coins and projects are independent enough for us to understand taht they will survive even without them |

some coins depend a lot on the peoepe and on other cryptcurreny bt i thibk that they are not the bigger part of the cryptcurrency wolrd |

All altcoins have correlated with bitcoin as bitcoin is the base currency of this market and whatever direction of its movement, the whole market follow the same trend and it is happening every time.
Yes, but the best thing about altcoins could pump up with the help of the community creating huge demands for their crypto. This is why some of the people had earn so much on altcoins. However, it could also be risky since not all altcoins will going to have a good market price increase especially if bitcoin market price falls down. |

Well , of course it depends , you can say 2 giants in our market, and if they are in the bear market then the rest of the coins, too, but of course much depends on bitcoin more ! |

Quite surprised with your thoughts. So why when bitcoin and ETH fall then altcoin fall so quickly? Obviously altcoin depends a lot on Bitcoin and ETH, if BTC and ETH fall then all investors will panic to buy as much BTC and ETH as possible. |

I think the price of ETH has an effect on some coins even though it's not as much as BTC because almost all coins can be exchanged for ETH so if ETH goes down it must be influential even though it's not as deep as the influence of BTC. ETH is also the best Altcoin that has a role in the market. |

Well , as I noticed from Ethereum , it does not depend much, if bitcoin falls then all the other coins affect it, and if eth then it does not affect the course very much! |

Yes most altcoin are highly dependent on btc and eth.when the price of bitcoin fall all other altcoin will decrease in price and a rise in Bitcoin will result in rises in prices of most altcoins.The price of eth also affect the other altcoins because it also have an effect on prices the only difference is that btc is having more effect on altcoins than ethereum.

It is not healthy that btc and its forks are at war on hash power dragging other projects down to the drain.
We may well see solids project like XRP and XLM liberating from btc soon. Ones liberated Solid projects will shine.

I don't think Ethereum plays much of a role. Bitcoin is the leader by market capitalization and Ethereum is also very dependent on Bitcoin, so Bitcoin only depends on the price and the rate of growth of the other coins.

1 silly question. That is an obvious truth and it is always true. Except for some altcoin pumped, it can sometimes go against the BTC and ETH. when BTC and ETH fluctuate, up or down. It all led to the influx of cash flow from altcoins to BTC and ETH and resulted in lower altcoin prices. Only when the BTC side way altcoin has the opportunity to break. |
