Mining will be just the same as every other coin
except.. in the huntercoin.conf you need to set:
if mining scrypt
or if mining sha256d
algo=sha256d
although by default it will be sha256d if you do not specify.

it may be worth mining sha256 with GPUs (until asics get on board), or, if you run 2 clients (2 pcs or vmwares?) you could split your GPUs onto both algos and see which you are doing best with

}If you are smart, and you are already mining a Scrypt or SHA256 coin, then you will use p2pool for merge mining, so that you can get huntercoins (for free) without losing hash power from the coin you were originally mining.
Note again - If you are going to compile yourself, then make sure you can compile Namecoin-qt (as it requires all the same dependencies.. if you can compile namecoin-qt, then you can compile huntercoin-qt)
In the game world, to mine.. the basics are -- move your characters over some coins, then bring them back to the spawn area and they will appear in your wallet (After 120 blocks).
