Need your advice about a problem on huntercoin :
I created two teams, name are always in black. I tried to change the colour, relaunch wallet , nothing works.
In same time, I sent HUC to poloniex.

Then I deleted the two teams's transactions, I relaunched wallet.
And now, the transaction on poloniex appears in grey, as unavailable transaction, the adress on poloniex is not writed anymore.

Thanks to help to save the coins.

there are some issues, this is an original idea and it's paying being "young" but i'm stickying with it because it give freshness to alt cryptocurrency copy->paste->edit around here

i think developers will introduce something similar in wallet, sooner or later, but you are showing interest in this game and your effort should be appreciated (even if 10 minutes delay is a bit too much for the purpose of knowing crown position, IMHO )

Sorry to insist, but after reading the former thread, and looking at some pre-release explanations, I remember have noticed that you should be able to mine as usual, even if it's not really profitable at first.

Can someone point me to a guide for gpu mining on a BAMT linux gpuminer, or at least with a classic cpu miner on windows if there is no GPUminer?

I feel frustrated doing the launch, being stuck ever since, and never try that game, that's why I'ld like to mine it to can launch a few games this week-end.

I made a new team - called CN-Bubble.
It didnt create after a while so I deleted the transaction, reloaded (after adding the new node) and restarted with -rescan.
Team gone transaction gone etc.

I clicked make team again and named it the same thing CN-Bubble. Same caps etc...
Made the team, transaction below. Team did not get made on MY wallet, not sure whats going on there...

I work all day, but come home for lunch and after I get my kids to bed in the evening I play games. Usually play Skyrim, or my Guitar, but then I found mining, and THEN I FOUND HUNTERCOIN! (hehe).

Any ideas on maybe checking ports?
I've told firewall (windows built in) to allow for ports to be open etc.

You said before you are using a VM on windows, and someone else said about using a Ram Drive instead (which I understand is risky), maybe you are having less problems because you run on a VM and its smoother or something?

If so, I'm happy to give that a go (will look into it tonight maybe). My computer is not under resourced with 16 BG of fast 1600 MHz Ram, over a 1TB HDD (and 3 more 1TB backup drives) my 6 core processor. My GPU is a little underpowered which is why I don't mine on it (Radeon R7 250 2GB), but its certainly not a bad card for what this rig normally does (Play Games).

Let me know your thoughts on possible Ports to ensure are open (if you think this could be related) and also about running on a VM or a Ram Drive instead?

I had exactly the same problems, neither new teams were created nor 1 HUC test send to Poloniex ever confirmed but it went OK
after some time. One of teams is now created, Poloniex sees transaction but is still on 0 of 9 confirms. I guess transaction volume
on HUC network is just insane and that makes propagation to miners a slow process. Some of miners might play dirty and reject
any transaction that does not suit them.

I have exactly the same problems, neither new teams were created nor 1 HUC test send to Poloniex ever confirmed. 51% attack?

the only people that can do a 51% attack is f2pool, who have the most coins - so that would be extremely unlikely otherwise their own coins (they have the most, 40k+) would become worthless - (well others can too.. but they are the main ones mining ,and you can see in explorer)

for someone else to ~51% attack, they need ~51% attack both sha and scrypt - diffiuclt  

well.. it's possible to add insane amount of sha256, then do selfish mining(?), and try to prevent scrypt getting in..

anyway.. do not worry about 51% attack

i'm running both in VM and W7.. no problems except during forks at start..

I know, just writting stuff without much rethinking. I have edited my previous post, check it above.

Suggestion for people who use slower computers, especially if HDD is going nuts, is to add printtoconsole=1 to your huntercoin.conf
file of start Huntercoin wallet with -printtoconsole=1 option. It prevents writting any new data to debug.log file. If that file does not
exist it won't be created so the result is much less writting to HDD which equalls better performance.

I finally succeeded in synchroniziong my windows wallet after I deleted all my folder (by the way my givaways were probably lost since my adress change).

yes, this can sometimes fix the sync issues. either 1) delete your nameindexfull.dat file and rescan.

or 2) BACKUP YOUR WALLET FILE FIRST -> then delete all the rest of the stuff -> then rescan - so you can keep your old wallet with the addresses that have your valuable HUCs in them.
