Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

I am glad that you just almost loss it and you still have your job mate,be thankful to your boss that he/she gives you another chance so do your job well and make sure that you can manage your time since you cannot afford to loss it. I do not experience what have you experienced cos I am just a stay at home mom but I have lots of friends who's like you but done their job well while working in crypto.

Perhaps everyone is thinking about what they will do in the next 10 years or how they will be financially secure when they retire ... Each person has his or her own stance and attitude to choose the type of job suit with yourself. Any job requires effort and patience to advance and achieve your goals. cryptocurrency offers a flexible, opportunistic, future-oriented job and is likely to generate a large amount of passive income. I love cryptocurrency, when qualified I definitely quit my current job to spend time crypto and passion.

i do the same think same with what you have done.crypto and bitcoin give me flexible time and place to work it.and also big earning that maybe equal with my salary in main job in several months.maybe i can retire after collect much bitcoin and wait untill its price exspensive.

Well, if the reason for you almost losibg your job is you stayed up all night online to learn everything you have to know about crypto currencies then i think crypto currencies are your passion. I mean why would you stay up all night and not enjoy it right? But if you really need youe job, then a simple pacing and time management is key.

I also have experienced it when the first time i find out about crypto. Crypto was like drugs back then. I spent a lot of time to learn everything about it even in the middle of my part-time job that lead to decreased my performance. I was lucky enough to get another chance by my boss. Even though my income from crypto (Hodling and bounty) is way bigger than my part-time job, i decided to keep my part-time job. I realized i'm still bad at time management. I'm working on it.

Then i suggest that you actually focusnon your job and take time out of it to educate yourself in crypto currency. I myself am keeping a fulltime job and am doibg bounties and on top of that trades now and again. You just have to balance everything in the day so not one will fall through the cracks.

the experience you share is almost the same as mine when I start hanging out with my real time crypto world is almost drained but the difference is if you are busy with your activities as a miner and a trader I am busy with signature campaigns but it all pays off when we benefit from crypto is not the real problem only if I am smarter in dividing the time maybe both can be balanced.

That is a good lesson for all, especially to those people who can’t manage their time properly, time management is a very important factor in life, not just to anyone but to everybody, we all need to be really careful in balancing our day jobs, families and other works as well, in that way, we will have the best of all sides.

Earlier I worked in the field of car maintenance, but in the winter I decided to fully engage in crypto currency, participating in bounty campaigns. And I did not regret it, I had a lot more time for myself and I started earning more money.

All I can say is you can't know how to handle your own time, because if you manage your time clearly you can't reach in that situation. I have a regular job too but if I'm on my duty I can't do anything related to crypto currency. However if I'm on my home I used almost half of my time to study and explore crypto currency because I know that it is my free time.
I advise you to stop studies crypto during working time but if you can't stop your self it's better to quit in your job and extend your time in crypto currency.

For me it's the other way around, I'd choose working in crypto and being your own boss over working some job any day.

For the persons who has a permanent job already and seeking for a another income or sideline this forum or crypto trading is perfect for you satisfaction.

I experience this kind of situation because I'm hungry for more information about crypto I almost spent half night for reading and seeking information to learn more and to add it to my stock knowledge. To answer the question in this forum and to relate the topic as well.

Like anything you can easily become addicted too same thing can happen with crypto. We all dream of striking it rich from crypto currency that sometimes we lose sight of the important real world things. We just have to keep alert to the pitfalls.

I value my job, it's hard to find a job here in my country and you can't get hired easily. There's a need to wait for a longer time before starting to work in a company.

There are people that are now focused with crypto and is working full time with it. Good thing that you were given another chance, don't forget that second chances are the last.

Your company is still generous for giving you that chance.

and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!
This depends on the situation, if you are working in a crypto related job and you are compensated there properly then stick to it.

But for some that are working in the corporate world which isn't related to crypto, it's correct that having your regular job is still better.

I'm just like you, almost quit my job to focus on crypto. Because early I get the money crypto is quite promising, but after a long time my income in crypto is very uncertain. When I realized I had abandoned my work, but luckily my boss could understand and give me another chance.

So think well before you leave your work for crypto, because it's better if you run both.

I agree , there are times where in we focuse on one thing that we almost forget that we have a main job to pursue. However, knowing your priority is effective and would work well for you to do what you should focus on first. Manage your time well and you would be able to finish more tasks.

I think you are right and strongly agree with your opinion, and your experience is very helpful to me personally who was once keen to focus in crypto field, but after I think and read this post, I feel working in crypto world need not be top priority but very suitable for side jobs and extra income so as not to disturb the financial viability, while learning and over time there is a possibility of one day I will focus but at least now I learn about crypto first before the world actually use crypto as one means of transactions other than money, hope forwards and now hopefully more excited because behind the world of crypto today I am still optimistic for the future better and impact with the development of the world for the future, the spirit of friends and success

To have a job and work with crypto world are the smart decision to do that will give you an extra income and have a chance to have a bright future. It's better to prioritize your regular job and second is crypto.

The most happiest thing happen for my line of work is when I'm in crypto, the job that always stressing me out is not a problem anymore since if I get tired and stress out I take extra day off, I can't do it before because no work no pay but now I can earn while having extra day off, amazing.

You should determine what your main job is to do the extra work to have a reasonable time distribution so that you will not become more confused than you. Recite yourself and be very bright to not repeat. such
He first needs to learn which one is he good at, whether it’s crypto or his regular job. He also needs to clear his mind regarding the amount he wants to make monthly. If his regular job is not sufficient then crypto can be really handy in making someone economically stable. It is not very difficult to make money with digital assets. All a person needs to know is the volatile nature and usual behaviour of his coin.
