Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).
Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!
I also realize that too especially today that the cryptocurrency are being slow in process in some icos out there unlike before the distribution and the exchanger are fast in terms of when the campaign are ends but today it is been nonths but still they do not have exchanger so we cannot sell it no profit at all within months so it is much better to have a stable regular job rather than sticking into cryptocurrency especially when you are just a small time cryptocurrency because that cant sustain all your expenses

This happens to almost everyone who is both working full time and part time in crypto. If you have a decent job, do not waste it just to go full time on crypto. Just spend your free time learning about crypto, do not sacrifice your job.
no need to sacrifice our main job if we want to have side job in cryptoworld.just manage our time ,we can do it together and earn money from that job.i will be very funny to us while receive our salary and reward.

Good thing you are given another chance, Because crypto's are not consistent in delivering profit, Lets say its like a big bubble where it erupts and fade away. In my case, i used to think deeply, Not all the time crypto's are doing great, based in historical data it constantly fluctuates up and down. and no assurance to earn profit. So i have to stick in my regular job, at the same time working with crypto's for my excess time.

Cryptocurrencies cannot really provide a sustainable and regular income for everyone. Cryptocurrencies could provide extra income for you. You could put your savings into cryptocurrencies and wait for it to grow but to focus and prioritize cryptocurrencies more than you present would be bad and is not a smart and efficient choice. If you are rich like a millionaire or a billionaire maybe cryptocurrencies would make you richer without working but if you are just getting by or is just earning enough to live and save some then you should still choose your current job.

Based on my experience, last year i could say it is better to work in bitcoin than your regular job because you can earn bigger money in bitcoin than your job. But today i honestly will say that it is good to have a job because bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are decreasing that is why it is hard to earn money in bitcoin, so it is good to stick on your job today.

Definitely your correct.... Thanks for sharing you experience.... That's really true... Today we practically needed a job.... Especially our regular and real job.... The main reason is because is it is our real job.... We will receive a benefits here but working in crypto is really great and it will bring a good opportunity for us.... It is really profitable but having a good and stable job is better.... If you can work both here.... Then try it both....

I think that would be only time management. You should know your priorities and the most important thing to do. Crypto is really a great opportunity as source of other income and yet the regular job is important as well because of the daily salary we earn on a daily basis that helps our daily financial needs. So better give sometime to your regular job as well as the crypto to be able to balance both.

It is good to hear they you got another chance . Of course we have to organize carefully our time, and it is always better to keep our main jobs offline and working with crypto only in our free time, to get an additional income online. The crypto market is unstable and the prices are always volatile, so we have to keep the offline job.

Indeed, the main job remains the best. I only make bitcoin as a side job and do not focus too much on bitcoin. Because if you quit your main job it will be hard to find a new job. Keep it hard though difficult

It is really bad and risky to lose your regular job for working full time with cryptocurrencies. There is always instability in the crypto world, while you need a stable income for your living bills and payments. That's why I work with crypto only in my free time and I will keep my regular job offline.

Have you consider being a crypto developper then? Yes crypto can affect a lot our life, that is why we must setup some limit to protect our main job. As you say, most of our jobs give us a regular income which make us feel safe but crypto does not give this feeling.

Switching to another way of making your living must be done with caution. I would never give up a job that completely covers my bills for something so risky as trading/mining cryptocurrency. It's another thing when you are a trader by profession, and it's your main source of income. Heavy losses are not so bitter, if you make a mistake in the market, because you only invest what you can afford to lose.

Or maybe it's a sign that you have to leave the usual work and do cryptocurrency? You didn't think about it? Although I wonder why you learned about cryptocurrency at work, not in your spare time. Cryptocurrency, by the way, can generate income as well as regular work.

I agree with you. Having a regular job means you have a regular money every month. Cryptocurrency is good but don't let it ruin your regular job. You can do both you only need to manage your time in a good way.

Maybe is because you lack time management if not I don't see the study of crypto currency related activities that will take you that much time to the turn of you been treating of your job.
It’s not like OP is trading bitcoin 24 hours so that the rate of his work depreciated, you shouldn’t be solely focused learning about bitcoins when you have a job that’s the only source of income. You should prioritize something’s well in your life.

Some of my friends do. I have to say that everything we do, there has to be a priority and make sure this will benefit you and your family. There is no bad effect when you do crypto but you should make sure to give priority to your work because it will give you insurance when crypto comes to it's worst.

Regular job is really better because this is for longterm like few decades, better to priotize your regular job instead of crypto. Yes joining crypto can get enough profit or high profit but it depends to the coin that you bought. But incase you have job and you are trader you must do time management so you can manage your time and you know what you do on everytime.

It still depends on what job we have and what status we have gained, there are more chances to get rich in crypto if we have knowledge on it and can focus , but of your happy with your job and your able to do both well then that's a win win thing.

You are still lucky. Indeed, the main job is something worth keeping. Because to get a decent main job we need competition in the world of work. Should not be too focused on cryptocurrency or work here. Your main focus should be on your permanent job. That's the best.
