It depends on the pool.

Got a compiled Windows QT here for you:

http://www.chainbrowser.com/qt/CryptographicAnomaly.zip

My CGA address is for bounty and donations is: ASiYDyfaj6CGvEmwddvH64ob9ABj32Jn6R

Thx

Thank you

Bounty sent.

Is everyone using this?  Do we know it's legit?  Don't need any trojans!

I have it installed, its showing six active connections. I haven't tried sending any coins to it yet, though

no connections for me..no block source available.

Try opening help >> debug >> Console
Then typing addnode=71.105.130.10 add

With CGA not as scarce as 42, would it match the rates of bitbar?

Probably not that high. I'm judging this purely on how much I've been able to mine today compared with the total value of other coins mined in a similar time span.

With that said, I would estimate a cost of between 0.005-0.01, at least to start out with.

However, it should also be noted that it seems early coins will come much faster, so comparing the current rate might not be appropriate.

Why the diff change is so chaotic? Net hash rate seems to be stable but diff sometimes jump from < 1 to > 2 and so on...

With the number of coin launches today, CGA though a better coin than most is going unnoticed. Are there any promotions planned by the admin?

Try setgenerate false in console.

Well, that's better for us, the more difficulty rises, the harder it will be to hit a coin Smiley

how can you see how many coins are already mined if not all blocks give coins?

--edit

strike that, I see it in the block explorer.  Seems this coin is not rare at all.  About 40% of blocks pay out!!

Hashed all night and didn't get a single one.

It's not really rewarding anyone with low hashpower, as others have said. You've obfuscated the way block rewards work, but on average the more hashpower = the more coins. You're just varying the payout rate, essentially.

It's an interesting coin, and difficult to come by, but it's also very difficult to evaluate. Nice thought experiment, though.  Smiley
