-August: was told No Acorn refunds, under any circumstance.  2 months later refunds for everyone (dont know why)

Short answer is supply chain issues. longer answers below. I have a (delayed) September pre-order; I received an email on 4-October asking if I wanted a refund or was willing to wait. I opted to wait. We'll see what happens.

Acorn Update: We still have not received our fans and heatsinks for final assembly, other than one tray of samples. We were able to confirm they shipped and are in customs, but have only been given a typical time it takes for them to clear. We have located a source for the Nest chips Broadcom wasn’t able to provide as ordered, and expect those to arrive this week to begin assembly. As soon as completed units are available we will begin shipping. At this time the supplier estimates we received have been inaccurate, so I can’t provide an exact date until components are all in our hands. Thank you for your patience.

The majority of Acorns and Nests will still ship in October, we have over 1000 complete Acorn kits at our facility already awaiting assembly and test behind the 1525s

This is not a scam as of today.  So don’t call it a scam.

I truly expect to be refunded next week.

Do you read discord if you did you would not post it as a scam.

What I will say it has been less then desired in terms of running it.

I truly do think they will deliver the gear and make the refunds no later then Veterans Day .

So far  my fear of long delays did occur.

But I truly think  they will make good on the refunds  many requested.

I think they are not scammers but that they simply did not understand  the forces  they were working against.

That is not true. I was banned for wanting to sell my 8x 1070ti rig for 1 fpga 1525. I thought it was a fair trade due to the high demand in refunds and I was willing to trade their risk. They got insulted and banned me. That is unacceptable and I expect more professional behavior if selling expensive products. That's not how you treat your future customers that want to buy in

Did you think you were communicating with some car dealership and SQRL was going set you up with a good finance deal on a FPGA for your trade-in?  Come on now, you were asking for a whoopin with that approach.
