Patience in the key, if you invested in a good project, do not sell when the market is down, just hold it that the market will recover eventually. Panic selling is the worse to do as you will end up losing money, so invest and wait until reach the goal you are aiming for. Recently I faced a bad luck. here the story

I got IOTX from GATE .io 28th of may 196000 @ .00004600 ETH.  Then after one or two hour i sold it to @ .00004800.

After 3 days means June 1st , one IOTX went to .00014ETH. 

if i sell June 1st  196000 * .00014 *590 = 16189$
Investment is = 5300$
so i have lost = 10800$

so in this story if i could wait 3 days , i have profit of 10000 USD. so in this case i am saying please be patient. wait wait. good coins always give a good reward to you

I also got something like your story because way back January 2018 I got SXDT that worth less than $20,000 unfortunately I don not know how to trade during that time and sad thing is that a correction had happened and  prices plummet like hell and the market turns red until the time I laerned how to trade it all worth  like $4,000 and I didn't wait for a bounce back and sold all of it.  Lesson learned, patients is really a virtue. If only I wait for the good timing.

you are WRONG about everything.

first of all from your  comment it is obvious you are gambling not investing.

secondly you have made 4.3% profit in 1-2 hours and you are complaining about this profit?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

third you have to think about it this way:
if you randomly help this coin and instead of going up it went down to 0.00001000 ETH you would have lost A LOT OF money.

and finally you made a huge mistake of not buying back when you saw the rise. in fact when you sold this shitcoin at 0.00004800 you made a solid good decision and you made a solid profit. but then you saw the rise days after that but you did nothing and just stood by instead of jumping on the pump wagon. THAT is where you lose opportunity.

ps. as you are complaining about this random shitcoin, there are at least 6 other shitcoins being pumped today that you are also missing out on making profit there....

Gosh, thats crazy too he sold it in under 2 hours. With good crypto coins, you can safely hold them for 6 months or longer. That's when you'll see the real returns.

Well,  I think that all major losses in digital currency are due to rushing  choices especially  at difficult times ( Pump, and big drop ) and it is not the end of the world if  you lose a large proportion of your money and believe me , you can learn from past mistakes and compensate the  losses with great profit. Just accept the truth ( Loss ) and deal with it in a smart way because the acceptance of what happened to you is essential in any field and it may help to overcome the crisis of the failure.

I would say nearly 100% of people who have been in crypto for over 6 months has a similar story. Yes, patience will be key. You want to be in the market when the explosion happens. It is coming.

There were some tokens i sold at the wrong time, just because i felt they would dip again. Could you believe that most of those tokens never fell to the price i sold them.

To the OP, i think you still gained when you sold them at a higher price. But you obviously did not maximize your potential gain when you sold them in a short span of time. What's important in your story is that you realized your mistakes and hopefully you will learn something out of it. Don't worry there will be lot of this coin and this time add a little patience when you find and invest in this new coin and see where this could less you. Good luck.
