I too have experienced such a thing. Indeed if you're still unfamiliar with the circumstances that there is necessarily a panic will be the biggest enemy. but to be able to anticipate at least can learn from experience and more patient to hold so can get big results.

I have both panic sold and fomoed into a buy so either one is a bad decision. We need to be patient and stick to our entry and exit points for whatever we are playing in, long or short term trades. We must not run with the panic or fomo sentiment of the market but only invest in projects that if we have to bag hold for a very long time, we are confident enough in holding it long term without pushing our panic buttons. I got IOTX from GATE .io 28th of may 196000 @ .00004600 ETH.  Then after one or two hour i sold it to @ .00004800.

After 3 days means June 1st , one IOTX went to .00014ETH. 

if i sell June 1st  196000 * .00014 *590 = 16189$
Investment is = 5300$
so i have lost = 10800$

so in this story if i could wait 3 days , i have profit of 10000 USD. so in this case i am saying please be patient. wait wait. good coins always give a good reward to you

If you panic, you will really lost your profits. In crypto there's no assurance when it is going up and down. Profits don't come in a matter of seconds it will take time for your investment to receive good amount of profits. Wait a li'l bit more while studying the flow of crypto in the market before you sell your coins.

I think you should be grateful with the profit you get if you as a day trader. You will see that the IOTX price is now down. Unlike the case if you are an investor, then you will not seek profit for a moment but more to long term 3 to 10 years ahead.

But you could not know that in 3 days the price will grow so much. She could also fall 3 times.

He was doing trading and the peak can't be speculated in fact that will be so difficult for op to know if there will be a huge pump in some days later. OP has lost nothing and i guess he was creating a calculation about how much he will get if he can sell his stash at the peak price.

In the investment of course patience becomes the key, if not impatient then we must be willing to lose, I prefer to wait and get profit rather than having to sell in a losing condition, and I'm sure that the end of the year everything will skyrocket.

It's sad, but everyone does what they regret. I agree with you that before selling coins, you need to think carefully and assume how events can develop in the future.
