Recently I faced a bad luck. here the story

I got IOTX from GATE .io 28th of may 196000 @ .00004600 ETH.  Then after one or two hour i sold it to @ .00004800.

After 3 days means June 1st , one IOTX went to .00014ETH. 

if i sell June 1st  196000 * .00014 *590 = 16189$
Investment is = 5300$
so i have lost = 10800$

so in this story if i could wait 3 days , i have profit of 10000 USD. so in this case i am saying please be patient. wait wait. good coins always give a good reward to you

I have heard many times that patience is the key to success, but in such situations you never know what will happen next and what will be the price of a particular token. The price of your token could be significantly reduced, after you sold it, think about it and do not regret what has already been done.

The best time to sell will only depend on the person and it does not depend in the price of the cryptos . you will easily tell it if you already set your goal on what is your targeted price .

let say , im only confident with the 10k value of bitcoin , then i wont expect anything more if ever bitcoin did reach 10k on that current moment . i will instantly cash out all of my coins because  im now happy with that price .

Your analysis is wrong. You did not lose anything! In fact, you actually gained something because you sold at a high. Meaning, you earned profit! Not as much if you waited 3 more days, but heck! You wouldn't have known the price will pump that high after 3 days. Also, how can you lose something you didn't have in the first place? Make sense? You did not lose anything in this case. What happened is you missed out on the opportunity to earn bigger profit because you sold too early. That's what happened!

"losing" is the loss of assets that you have, from your story that I read you only lose the opportunity to sell at a high price because of lack of patience, if you say it's gone? even though you have never had one.
