Simon from Hashra sent me the following last night: "They are on the right track now though with some good improvements from how it was just a few weeks ago. I'm actually pretty confident now that this will get sorted soon"

Is it real?  Or is it Memorex??

The people that hang out over there are a bunch of experienced miners, mining in up to 60 pools with in-depth blockchain analysis for all of them, showing trends and profitability recommendations pointing them in the direction of what will make the most coin.

And they share info, like "this coin is popping, if you have any sell off", or "here's a cool pair of hooters to look at", and there's this crazy guy investing a sh!tload of money into keeping it all pretty much running like clockwork.

People give each other stuff, like a box full of miners.

And, there's no drama.

But you have to admit - the whole Hashra Astro machine thing is a joke now.  A bad joke at that.  Sad - but those machines don't exist.  Every two weeks - a new excuse.  If you look at all the excuses over the last 6 months -- you can definitely see that Simon (if he exists) is a big 'ole thief.  And then of course the website has been down for what 2 months?

Perhaps "Simon" is waiting for BTC to hit $1k -- where he can then maybe refund people -- instead of going to prison.

BTC going to $1k I think is pretty slim at this point.  I know - wrong topic - but does anyone see BTC going over $300 USD again?

I had originally asked Simon if it was based on the Bitmain L1 chips, but he said no they wrent on Bitmain chips. Didnt think about the alcheminer.

Simon and Hashra have nothing to do with the pools, or the people that hang out there, except that some of the people there are waiting. (and the guy running the pools listed them for sale on his hardware site)  We all have our opinions on if/when the Astros will show, but that has nothing to do with the pool or smarterhash.

No, bitcoin will never hit a grand again, and probably not go over $300 for very long before dropping back down under it..  I made a prediction that it was going to drop to ~$200 and stay there, back when it was $600 and climbing to over a grand..  It seems to be doing that, but I blame being right on a combination of luck and experience on watching other bubbles (like housing and stocks) expand and pop based on hype.

I have dealt with Simon before when I purchased his old machines. Simon sucks as keeping in tough with people - that's just a plain fact. He is a company of himself and one other person.

I decided to resell his machines and offered people a paypal payment option and have always told everyone they I would be willing to refund their money REGARDLESS of whether 90 days had passed on paypal and I have refunded several people who chose not to wait. The money people have paid me was sent to Simon so refunds come out of my personal money and that's alright because I have the cash reserves to do it and in addition I will gladly take the machine they give up because I'm building mu own mining farm and either Simon comes through or he does not.

If he ultimately fails - everyone who ordered through me get's their money back and I will deal with Simon to get my money back. So that's on me - not the people who ordered from me - they will get every penny of their money back.

The are a few trouble makers (trolls) on the forum who
1) have no skin in the game and
2) stalk me because they just can;t seem to deal with the reaility that someone in this business actually has integrity and stands behind their word.

And for those who know me well - I stand behind my words.

We will know in a few weeks if Simon is going to deliver or will be forced to pull the plug. I will give him credit for hanging in there and trying his best to get these machines built. I know personally what kinds of shit he has to deal with doing business with the chinese. They are very tough to deal with and care about themselves - first and foremost.

So if you ordered directly through Hashra - you're out of luck for a refund - but if you ordered through Lifeforcepools (now Smarterhash) -- then "Ninja" will supposedly give you a refund.

Don't believe anything Lifeforcepools/Smarterhash/Jeff Jennings is saying. He was shilling the same way for MAT and apparently was one of very few customers who got his miners but everyone else got screwed by MAT bankruptcy. Same story here, except he is now a reseller. This now gives him the best of two worls - he can get in on the scam and also pretend how he's Simon's "victim" too.

He's lying about PayPal, it's 180 days not 90. If you ask for a refund he will come up with ridiculous excuses - stand firm and escalate to a PayPal claim as soon as you can, don't delay. He is NOT an honest person by any stretch of imagination. If you have any doubts check my trust feedback - he just copied some random texts multiple times trying to make me look like some casino scammer .

Jeff, you're forgetting that you're violating FTC rules. A refund is not something customers should be asking for. You were supposed to ask your customers if they wanted to wait and only keep the customer waiting if the customer explicitly agrees to it. Otherwise you should have automatically refunded including those who didn't respond.

You should read the FTC link I posted. Resending Simon's e-mails is not enough. I know for a fact that I did not opt in to wait 4 more months and you didn't refund me automatically. That's a violation of FTC rules.
