This is why you should pre-mine and pay the exchanges. Sad.. but true.

Just have to make sure that whatever you pay them, it's not enough to totally kill the coins price if/when those coins get all dumped into the market in the first 10 minutes. For example look at what happened to the price of Rapidcoin once they gave away 40k coins to have it listed. From all indications... All, (or a huge part) of those coins were insta-dumped immediately after it went live on the market, which helped drive the price down to the point that miners currently are barely paying their electric with the proceeds. Unless it comes up about 10x or so from where it is, the miners have no reason to mine it, and I think it's possible that RPD might be all done... (Yes I'm aware everything dropped with BTC, but the drop on RPD was much, much farther than everything else. Most are recovering a bit, while RPD does not seem to be).

of course! our aim is to get it to an exchange.. but 15pages of support is obviously not enough for it too be added, its annoying and it needs to be added to coinmarket.io

Difficulty is rising a bit, that alone should make the price higher eventually, bigger pump might come from getting added to some of the mediumsized exchanges(like coinmarket.io), but first pump it's usually followed by major dump with these new coins. Hold and have patience is a sound plan for now

Unfortunately, exchanges are greedy bastards and have to have 'incentive' in the form of a bribe to add any coins.. Or at least it seems that way these days..

Holy penguin.. I thought my P2Pool node http://penguincoin.p2p.0x0a.nl:49544/ was dead on a iceshelf from the start, but some hero with ~100 kH/s just found the first block at diff ~7.66. That's worth a celebratory note - yay for whoever is mining there with address pJ1qxSsnUR6kNs6VDc3N8KMtXjnJEUpuyd !

Also, there are currently two nodes in the P2Pool network; if you want to set up your own node (0% fee ;P), the patch is here.

Few thoughts of my own.

I am watching PENG closely right from the beginning. We are one week after the launch and everything seems to be running smoothly. Nethash and difficulty are sometimes higher, sometimes lower but there is always something going on within the PENG network. I am participating as a miner and also made few trades. Pools are stable and there is no problem with mining or transactions.

It seems that the coin is gathering quite a nice community and the support for putting PENG on larger exchange platforms is widely shown mostly in coinmarket.io and cryptsy topics. Of course it would be also nice to have it on other exchange platforms like coinedup or cryptorush.

Nice to see that on the dev part is also something going on and some giveaway's, marketing measures and MAC wallet has been made. Hope to see some official page soon, as i think it would be a nice addition - there is a bounty on it, so hope it will soon be filled

So, in few last words hope to see official website of PENG soon and additions of coin to some bigger exchanges, with better volumes and API interfaces. Next submission to sites like coinmarketcap, coinwarz etc so it could get exposure it deserves. After that it would be wise to think about implementing Kimoto Gravity Well as difficulty adjustment so that big multipools could not destroy mining of PENG.
