What do you expect when everyone comes and creates nodes.. the few revenue is shared by more and more.
It takes 8 days before they get payouts and volume can raise. For know only a hand full dictate the prices.

If you have only one masternode - it doesn't matter

Yes. The payout time depends on the numbers of created masternodes. And the Telos coins gets more and more MNs every day. So currently you have to wait for the fist payment of 180 coins 3x average MN reward frequ. = 3x 3days and 15h

I get that blockchain technology has a goal here but I am challenged to see why the market for this token / coin will grow and why consumers will pay for it. Also, will commercial / industrial users buy and use the same token / coins offered to ICO participants or will Skynet license their blockchain technology to some people while finding issues for token / coin solutions for consumers / retail markets?

every business where money can be used can exist without any coin. The Telos dev has some businesses for german customers who pay with euros since years. Now these customers can pay additionally with Telos. You can use the calculator on the website: Telos <-> EUR/USD. If I would want to buy the Raspberry PI hardware wallet, I pay about 60 dollar in Telos to the dev.

Currently all businesses from the dev will be changed to accept Telos coins. As I red in the Discord channel, 2-3 exchanges will be added. And I also red that the Telos coin has a huge trading volumn on Graviex.net.

When there will be more services like a card game or a fitness tracker or an own exchange this coin will be a huge success. There is no other coin out there with this huge potential.

Please use lobos Setup Script as posted on Discord.
The Problem is not the Gossipcoin . It is just that the default Masternode setup is a bit too demanding and aimed for 1 Node = 1 vps . Everyone tries to setup 6 or more on a Single vps..
 
Lobos Script Changes the default config and lowers cpu load as suggested by me.

Or just install one Node on one vps.
