No i mean hash rate...the pool's hash rate dropping to zero, and back up and down again. The power i was refering to was the miners hashrate was greatly reduced almost as if they were running at half the power. all top miners in the pool saw reductions in hashrate. I am starting to think i imagined this whole thing and my computer is the one that's screwed

ah my bad i'm not mining there, i'm at hashstrike. i just misinterpreted you is all. if you saw hashrate drop on others on the site then yea for sure there are issues. with 369 miners @ 600mh @ code4 right now as i checked, yea there servers are probably taking an asswhooping.

pretty crazy though, 2500mh network hashrate on a coin that's 55hrs old.

If there is to change anything, change it before the coin hits any major exchange. Otherwise it'll cause some bad rep.

look the fedoracoin, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391192.0
i think this coin is  very promising, for multpool, the dif is changed from more than two hundred change to less than fifty, except multpool mining in low dif,the nethastrate is about several hundred M,you can also see the reddcoin, they plan to be modified immediately,or will follow the fedoracoin and other.

dev shoule think to modify  retarget difficulty  time, prevent multpool damage this coin, the time is too long,at best the dif is change every block.

In my opinion every block actually discourages big players from aiming...while it may hurt to see them abandon at high difficulty, a longer time gives more constancy to hash rate.  I think a middle ground that would be a pain to monitor, but less often than every block (maybe 30-50 or less) would give more incentive to set and forget-maybe change every so often.  While small miners want the difficulty drop, those invested in it wanted it to raise,  finding something in between would give big guys a reason to hand around, at least more often, and little guys more of a chance.  In the end if, you really want a coin to be worth something you want a higher difficulty, if you want to make it as a miner you want a lower difficulty.  Gravity in my opinion encourages a much lower difficulty.

I might be completely wrong, feel free to argue or correct me.  I'm not trying to say this like I know what I'm talking about, but that's how I see it.
